Thanks for the "Happy Birthday"s.

..whatever the circumstances

Folks, do pray for Leah today

Her grandad died on Tues - his birthday, & his funeral is today - her birthday

I can only thank God for my experience as a Bereavement Counsellor

As I said on Wed & Thurs, I saw many widows prove God's "many precious promises"

He really will "turn your mourning into dancing"

He really will "give you beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning"

He really will make "all things work together for the good of all who love God"

He really will "bring good out of evil"

He really will "take what the enemy throws at you to hurt you, & turn the curse to a blessing"

Leah is eldest of 6 & has @ 11 nephews & nieces, aged @ 6/11

If I recall right, all of them, & her patents, have faith in Christ as Saviour & Lord, & she is praying @ moving @ 150 miles south, to be nearer to more of the family, who are all in Illinois

God bless, Leah!

Thanks for your prayers & thoughts

I came on to say that this site should have 98,000 members within the hour

It's a year, this month, since I joined: we were then @ 23,700 members

We tripled within 6 months & quadrupled in @ 6 months, hitting the 90,000 mark in Aug

We had grown consistently by @ 150 a day - @ 1000 a week

Growth seems to have slowed since Sept, but with New Year seeing so many more than ever assessing just what life is about, do invite your friends to talk things thru here

To fire your imagination, let's aim to be 100,000 by the celebration of love that is Valentine's Day, & 200,000 by 2006, eh?

This link to a Christianity Today article urging unchurched Christians to consider the Bible commands & examples of the benefits of corporate, community life & spirit, may be especially useful:-

i wish i had snow on christmas.... all we got was rain.

did you at least go skiing?

Hi!
We just had walk on that day.
Actually there is no chance for skiing any more. We have the warmest winter for ages. The snow has melted almost complete in the area I live. January-February should be the coldest months and there also should be a lot of snow! Even 2 lakes in our town haven't got ice yet. Weird!
