We always talk about things our HUSBANDS do that annoy us, however let's take a look at ourselves today women . Name something you do that gets on your husband's nerves. I'll start us out lol.

While cutting cheese today with the cheese cutter I remembered how much it annoys my hubby when I just toss the thing in the sink rather than going ahead and washing it off. We're like a pack of rats around here and all love cheese. Soo I've been working on that and making sure to wash the thing off rather than throwing it in the sink.

HEHEH!! We have the same problem here with the cheese grater. My thing that drives him nuts, or at least annoys him, is that I'm bad about remembering if I've told some story or other, so he always gives me this exasperated "Yes I know dear, you met Butterfly McQueen." whenever I do that. When I was in grade school she came to visit the school and the whole school watched Gone With the Wind. (I don't know nothin' 'bout birthin' no babies!) She was the sweetest little woman! And yes her voice had that cute high almost whispery quality.

My husband gets annoyed when I don't clean the house up to his standards, lol. He's ex military and has a particular way he likes things done. Luckily, he seldom gets mad about it unless I'm just being obviously lazy...as long as I'm trying, he's willing to pitch in and help me. I really, really love that about him.

oh my gosh, i could write a list...

my husband hates to get anything on his feet. so i can't have even a drop of water on the floor, he will find it. i will sweep and mop and sweep and mop, and he will find the one grain the cat left walking across the floor...

my husband hates for water to touch him unless he is in the shower.
my husband hates the toilet paper to be under.. it has to be over.

my husband can't stand to open the silverware drawer and find the blue handled forks and spoons w/the rest of the silverware. they should be in the "blue handled spot". my husband can't stand to see a mess in the medicine cabinet. nor can he stand to see the shoes all thrown in. they have to be nice and neatly in order...
my husband has about 100 other little rules, that serve to really aggravate me somedays.. i honestly, (probably erroneously) believe i can't hold a job, because i wouldn't be able to meet those 100 rules, i think..
if it were just the 2 of us, this would be easy to manage, but we have 8 children.

LOL, I thought of two more biggies...

Mark HATES it when I forget to throw wet clothes into the dryer. I'll admit, that's annoying, but sometimes when you're multitasking to the point of trying to do laundry in between washing the dishes, mopping the floor, and keep your 3 year old out of the bottle of Tempara paint...oh wait, it's too late, she's already dumped half the bottle into the carpet of her bedroom...ARGGHH!! Let me get a bucket of water and TRY to scrub most of it up. Half an hour later...Now what was I doing again??? ;) Yeah, anyway, sometimes you just get sidetracked.

And his other biggie is not putting the clean clothes away. I'll admit, I just HATE putting clothes away. And socks, I hate folding socks! Actually, folding I don't mind...it's putting them into their respective drawers. It's like I'm drowning in clean clothes. Grrr...I guess I really should start having my little ones put their own clothes away, huh.

My husband gets really upset when I cry. He always seems to think that he is the reason why I'm crying, and it's mostly because of pms and I don't even know why I'm crying LOL Other than that, he never gets upset with the way I do things around the house. I'm more picky about the house than he is! LOL

my hubby gets really annoyed when i don't immediately put the dirty dishes in the dishwasher... it's laziness on my part, but I don't understand why i can't do it later ;)

He is also obsessive about locking all doors at night...we even sleep with our bedroom door locked ( don't know what he will do when we have kids) he hates it when i forget to lock the bedroom door at night

My husband hates it when I leave my shoes all over the house, which I admit is a bad habit I have!!

The toilet-paper thing, I was laughing so hard! That's my husband, too! He wants it to go under, & altho it really doesn't matter to me, sometimes...I ADMIT IT...I do it the other way just to annoy him!

And I hate putting the laundry away, too...I don't mind the washing, but the folding, hanging up, etc....bleah!! Sometimes it's all I can do to get it folded, & the stuff to hang up, I just lay out on our bed so they don't wrinkle...then they are STILL there when he goes to bed...annoys him to no end!! But he DOES pitch in & help me put them away, maybe I'm doing it subconciously!!!

Greg really hates it when I am upset about something and he asks me what is wrong, and I say "nothing" (cuz it is obvious something is wrong). Especially if he asks several times and I still won't tell him or talk about "it".

i have to admit it too.. when i get really annoyed w/him, then i will put the toilet paper roll under, not over.. 3 months after we were married, we got into an argument and i told him "well, fine, then, i'll just take the plates and move them all here, over the counter, and i will take the pots and pats and move them...

and he is yelling "NO YOU WILL NOT!!" and him just thinking about, incensed him to the point that he actually thought he had made a mistake marrying me! now, we have a good laugh about it. and when he gets upset about something petty, then i will say, "you don't want to look for the cheese grater or the can opener right now... "

Man ole' man, What I do to get under my hubby's skin............ Well first, when i talk to where he can't hear me, or talk like I have a mouth full of marbles. I really don't do it on purpose, but he swears I do. HE'll say" Now darn it, what did you say, and look at me when you say it this time, you sound like you have a mouthful of marbles."

HE also hates it, when I won't repeat myself and I say nothing, it drives him crazy.

I also hate doing laundry, it seems like it never ends and the piles keep getting bigger and the whole time I'm doing laundry, I've even accused my husband of going up stairs and changing clothes and throwing the clean clothe he had on in the pile I'm working on. I also hate folding and putting away. My husband hates it because he has to dig through a basket to find one pair of shorts that fit just right.

I'm sure there are more just let me think awile and I'll share them with you.
