Just converted from Islam.

Hi there. I posted on another thread and when I found this one, I figured this is where I should introduce myself. I just became saved one week ago and am so happy that I did. I was born in Turkey and traveled alot and have always had an interest to who Jesus was and why Islam only believed that he was a prophet. I am really looking forward to making friends on this site and learning more about being a Christian and deepening my relationship with Christ!

Thanks so much everyone for the warm welcome. I feel like my life is so different now. Things that used to be important to me(going out drinking with friends and just having fun) I just feel that my priorities in life were so focused on having fun and not worrying about tomorrow. I also feel so much more at peace with myself and feel Christ with me every second. I have been praying to him that I get better soon and can form a better relationship with him. I'm so excited about life now and hope that my fiancee can accept Christ as well. It's been tough going to church alone. I pray for him every day.

I found out that I have some problems with my stomache and am still dealing with anxiety. They want to put me on stronger meds but I'm determined to let God heal me. I pray every second that I can get better and be happier again but I am so happy to have found Jesus in my life.

it's so amazing that God has called you from islam to Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God.

I will pray for you that Jesus will help you every day. Stay faithful to Him and always raise praises to God the Father!


It's so wonderful to hear about muslims that accept Christ, as I know many former muslims that are now christians, mostly from Iran. I also know a lot of muslims from Turkey, Iraq etc.

I will also pray for you fiancé. that he might be called by God to Jesus Christ, so that he might recieve Jesus as Lord and Saviour.

Yipee! PRaise the Lord Almighty! Isn't it awesome...another believer into the family of Christ. Thank God! Welcome, many welcomes!!! You will find that God is an amazing awesome person...he's very cool!...I just love Him so much...he's good to me...anyways, did you know that when you are saved into the family of God, the whole angels and heaven rejoices?.(Luke 15;10)...and God does too, because you are loved by God!

By the way, isn't it strange that some people believe that Jesus was not the sun of God, but that he was a true prophet....it goes against itself because Jesus himself says that He is the Son of God.
