i always a good friend to others-listening ear ,helping hand ect- and somehow along people always push me out and when i see again -there is no one i can call my friend. Its hard and i do not understand it- where do i go wrong???

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

praying for the Lord to send you a true friend. maybe someone from church? God bless you, sister. i know what it is like to not fit in sometimes, and how hurtful that can be. i am sure you have heard it said before, but just be yourself. be comfortable with the wonderful person you are, and others will see your self-confidence. also, there may be ministry/Bible studies and/or other programs at your church that you can get involved in and meet other Christian women that way. draw ever closer to God and listen for His voice. He will help you feel appreciated for the beautiful person that He created you to be. He loves you very much and desires you to feel loved. i will be praying for you too, dear one.
