Something came to me while I was contemplating the sunday law crisis soon coming...

I think we (Adventists) have had the idea that we will be the only ones targeted with this leglislation but there will be millions or more, who will not toe the line in being forced to do something against their will, for their own reasons.

Yes, many (including professed Adventists) will come into line when the penalties start being enforced, for self preservation, but satan could care less if he has to kill 100's of millions in order to sweep God's remnant down the drain as well.

A recent video I watched had Doug Batchelor and two leaders from 3ABN, strongly condemning the rise of homosexuality and being excited by the prospect of Ben Carson possibly holding office. I believe, from the signs of the times, it will be the homosexual issue that will be the tipping point for "Christians" to call for legislated morality. Leading Adventists are also seeming to be going in this direction as well.

Will Adventists be a part in bringing the crisis upon themselves unawares?

What sayest thou?

There may be a point to notice regarding Christian cooperation for "legislated morality." Orthodox Christianity in general can agree on potential legislation regarding LGBT in the sense that we should not be forced to participate in any aspect of that lifestyle. (It's bad enough that we are forced to pay health insurance premiums and taxes arising from deviant lifestyles.) We should be respected when we choose not to be part of their ceremonies or other aspects of their lifestyle.

But when "legislated morality" includes the time or other manners of worship then we are likely to part ways with the general Christian audience. Are you thinking that cooperative venture in the first matter may bleed over into the second? Having worked toward a common goal in the first makes it easier of work together toward common worship practice? Hmmm. There may be a bit of team pull there.

I don't know if these men will be a part of the expansion of these laws into forced sunday worship but they appear like they will be enthusiastically behind the impetus of such laws.
