Good morning to you too.
Can you please explain where does this oppinion come. In short terms. I am just wondering. I have been checking some profiles on this forum and on couple of them I saw this 'exlamation' (I was saved on date)... so, just wondering who are the people that believe this...

Many years!

Are you asking for scripture or just opinion?

This is a phrase used by most Christians meaning the same as "born again" in Christ.

"Basically when some one says he is saved he is saying that he is a Christian, though many are not as they say."

Does that actually implies a 'definite article', of being saved as in 'that is it, because now I am saved' ; or is it just an exclamation; having a nice way of saying that one is Christian?

"I have confessed my sins and my sinful nature to Christ and I have acknowledged He is the Son of God. And that he has offered me salvation that I do not deserve"

Question:
1. Is this an ongoing process or is it once and for all done/finished when you did this (confessed and acknowledged and accepted)?

Thanks for your answers, when you tire just say.

Lord is risen!

Yes he lives!

I and most Baptist believe that Gods gift is not returnable. Once you are saved you are saved forever. But there is a continuing process as you grow in your new life. It never stops the Holy Ghost works in you as long as you are on this earth. The closer you get to God the hungrier you become for more of Him in your life. You want to do His will and not your own.

A lot of people call themselves Christians and say they are saved but if you watch the way they live their lives you can tell who is and who is not.

Thank you very much.

It is an expirience to see how people see themselves and how they perceive that what is revealed to them.

A lot of people might live 'unchristian' lives even though they do declare themselves as such. It is about fruits, I guess.

Lord have mercy on us.

Thank you again. It is somewhat clearer to me what is meant by these sayings and statements of faith. In good time I will ask more. For now, thank you and many years.

Lord is risen and is among us!
