  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hello to all of you on CF:clap:

I just joined your party today and I think I will like it here. I will say that this is the most colorful forum I have ever seen. I am still trying to get acquainted with all the symbols and rules.

I learned about this place because my daughter wanted a forum of her own. This was the only one that had a section for young people. She is 11 and goes by the name LittleJesusGirl. Now I can keep even a better eye on what she is up to. I know that she will be thrilled. ;)

I look forward to getting to know everyone here. There are a lot of you, but I will do my best. :D

I joined Christian Forums about 3 days ago and I'm so glad I did!!

Yes, there is so much stuff to do here!! So many fun toys....Blessings, reputations, smileys, etc...!!!

I can't imagine being 11 years old like your daughter, and being involved in any sort of chat forum!! What I mean is...at 11, I didn't know what a computer was! What a great (if used correctly) way to spread Jesus' word!!!

Welcome Patiently Waiting! There are a lot of parents on CF watching over their children! :D I would suggest you talk with Mavrick, he is a youth pastor and has some very good advice about certain pitfalls to avoid! If I can help just send me a PM (Private Message) be glad to if I can. :hug:
