This is my first RP ever, well to lead at least, it’s a Fire Emblem based mercenary group, Jupingatna. Here it goes…

Long after Nergal and Zephiel are defeated peace came upon the land, but the strength of the lords fell. They became near-sighted political leaders, not heroes of war as they once were. The lords run their country, caring not for their people but for the popularity and wealth. They need someone to do what they once did, that’s where we come in. We are hired for intelligence gathering, assassination, to lead a battalion, or to serve in one. We are mercenaries. Our skills are unlimited, and our leaders depend on us. We have loyalty only to the lord of the mighty city of Pherea. We serve Lord Vollstedt, Roy’s great-great-great-great grandson, and will fight to the end in his name.

Story: *

The drums of war beat in Bern. There is talk of war everywhere. The might of Bern will not easily be taken down.

*Story will change. Check often for the current story status.

Rules:
• ALL of the CF board rules
• Absolutely NO spamming
• Or Flaming
• Or God-modding!!!
• No killing any other RP member… even if they ask for it
• No suicide
• No in-depth display of blood or gore*
• No OoC (Out of Character) chatting

* Here is a good death as a thief… He sneaked up quietly behind his unsuspected victim. He then unleashed his killing blows, one after another to the neck and chest. The victim’s body fell lifelessly to the floor. Notice, NO blood or gore what so ever but you can still tell it was violent.

Classes:

1. Trainee Fighter (Axe): Fighter (Axe): Warrior (Axe/Bow) [Male/Female]
2. Trainee Fighter (Axe): Pirate (Axe): Berserker (Axe) [Male/Female]
3. Trainee Soldier (Lance): Knight (Lance): Great Knight* (Lance/Sword/Axe) [Male/Female]
4. Footman (Sword): Mercenary (Sword): Hero (Sword/Axe) [Male/Female]
5. Footman (Sword): Myrmidon (Sword): Swordmaster (Sword) [Male/Female]
6. Pickpocket (Sword): Thief (Sword): Rouge**/ Assassin** (Sword) [Male/Female]

9. Horseless Caviler (Lance): *Wyvern Knight (Lance): Wyvern Lord (Lance/Sword) [Male]

15. Sister (Staff): Cleric (Staff/Light Magic): Sage (Staff/Light/Anima Magic)[Female]
16. Brother (Staff): Monk (Staff/Light Magic): Sage (Staff/Light/Anima Magic) [Male]
17. ***Bard [Male]
18. ***Dancer [Female]

*In order to reach this stage in ranking up you must first buy your mount.
**Rouges can pickpocket and open chest, assassins are more of killing machines, obviously, rather than stealthy sticky-fingers.
***Can join with only select groups, but can join quicker. Also, will get a partner in missions, whether RP member or created character, no matter what rank… Affinities are very important in these classes.

Joining Classes:
At high levels you are able to combine SOME classes. For instance, a Great Knight will NOT be able to combine with anything, because (s)he is too strong, but(s)he will be able to train to use a bow.

In order to join classes you must have:

• Proceed to the 2nd class unless you’re a bard or dancer
• Been an active member for at least one week
• Be a “Mercenary” class

Joining classes allow you to use the weapons of that class and the “life style” of that class. (A myrmidon joins with a thief can now deal huge, sneaky critical hits and steal stuff!!! Cool, huh?)

Items/Weapons:

You can buy items to heal you during battle. This and your weapons will be purchased at the Support Forums. You can also buy a mount. Some classes are forced to. These mounted units can move faster and have another creature/character to bond with, but it does cost a bit.

As you can see above, your weapons are already chosen for you, but how strong is it? O.K. here’s the levels to weapons.

• Bronze
• Iron
• Steel
• Silver
• True-silver
• Gold
• Diamond
• Mythril
• Dragon’s bone

Not only does the material it’s made of show how powerful it is, but you can also get the weapon enchanted, for a price. A few examples of enchants are like avoid bonus, damage bonus, or piercing. There are also unidentified weapons or items you may come across during a mission, sometimes they’re rare artifacts of huge power, so get them identified as soon as possible, depending on the weapon the price for identification will grow or decrease. Also, special versions of the weapons are good/bad against certain enemies. For instance, a Bronze Rapier is designed for high avoid rate and fast attacks, therefore it’s good against regular soldiers, like footmen or thieves, but lacks the power to do major damage against a heavily armored unit such as a General.

Archers bows are measured in the wood their made of. The levels of bows are:

• Oak
• Maple
• Ash
• Yew

There is only a few because the arrow heads are made of the metals. So enchants are really good for archers, you can enchant both the bows and arrows. Also, the bows’ upgrades are more drastic and also more expensive… causing less of them needed.

You might eventually be able to train in a second or third weapon. So in example, eventually Peg. Knights can use an axe… at a price.

Affinities:
• Light
• Dark
• Thunder
• Wind
• Fire
• Ice

O.K. The affinities are a little different than in the games. If you and an ally are opposite affinities or matching affinities you work well together. (Like opposites attract ) If you don’t match you don’t hate each other, you just don’t work as well together. Opposites are paired above.

Triangles:

In Fire Emblem there are two triangles, the weapon and the magic triangle. If you’ve played Fire Emblem you know all about it.

Weapons

Sword beats Axe
Axe beats Lance
Lance beats Sword

Magic
Anima beats Light
Light beats Elder
Elder beats Anima

Ranks:
• Mercenary Captain:* Amras (Me) Dunebrake (Co-leader) Celebring (Co-leader) (Can promote and demote members)
• Assassin:
• Commander:
• Officer: Selise (Can join new members, and post new missions)
• Bounty Hunter:
• Major:
• Front Rank: (Can pay for help in a mission, like an archer to back you up; it’s just like another character in your mission, !you control!)
• Mercenary: (Able to join classes)
• Hired Soldier:
• Intelligence Gatherer:
• Not worth your pay:**

*I don’t want to feel omnipotent, but I do have final say in huge matters, like some other RP leaders, so it is possible to become the same rank as me… just really hard. ^^ Also this is just our status we are starting down with

**Must be demoted to get this rank, or join again after quitting once.

Missions/Arena;

Missions are stories written by you about yourself and your accomplishments in third person. Let’s say I gave you the mission prompt…

~Mission~

Laus has yet to join the war, we need their help. Go to Marquess Laus and “persuade” him to join on our side.

Objectives:

-Infiltrate Laus
-Convince the Marquess to join, or kill him ONLY IF he refuses to join
-Do so with out revealing your identity or our group

… you then write a story IN THIRD PERSON about what you did to achieve these objectives. Since it is your story you are able to thrown in as many twist as you want… as long as you achieve your objectives. Afterward, I, or whoever assigned the mission, would grade the mission. Depending on how well you will gain a set reward. Grading is set on a 10/10 score.

Arenas will be held very seldom but will rake in HUGE amounts of cash. You will battle predetermined enemies for gold. Gold will be given in Missions also; Gold will be spent in a shop which I can PM to anyone at anytime, considering that I’ll be on.

In order to join please list:
• Your Name:
• Your Age:
• Your Class:
• Class You Wish To Be:
• Your Weapon: (Remember you get a bronze level of your first weapon.)
• Your Affinity:
• Your Appearance:
• The Reason you fight: (a short bio, keep it short, but not too short… I want to know who your character is)

Please RP yourself walking into the castle, IN THRID PERSON, and joining the mercenary group, Jupingatna.

The ONLY race there is, is humans.

Example:

After reading a sign for an elite mercenary's group Selise heads to the “North Wing”. She went to the recruiter and filled out the following:

Name: Selise
Age: 26
Gender: Female
Class: Archer
Eventually become: Sniper
Weapon: Oak Bow, Bronze Arrows
Affinity: Ice
Description: Tall (5’ 9’’) Brown shoulder-length hair, slender build, green eyes.

The recruiter then outfitted her as such.

Upon joining you will receive:

• A bronze level of your first weapon (or your first wood bow, if you’re an archer) or your fist magic spell
• The rank “Intelligence Gatherer”
• 10 gold pieces (10 gold pieces actually is 1000 copper pieces, so it seems a lot harder to earn money than in the game… but everything is cheaper ^^)

Profiles:

Should be made after every fifth mission

• Name
• Member Since…
• Rank
• Class
• Bio
• Money
• Current Weapon(s)… identified or not
• Items… identified or not
• Pets, Rare Items, or other items of the sort
• Missions done so far… just the mission name, grade, and page the mission can be found on, you may add a link to the actual mission so people can look at your previous work, if you'd like.

Palandir looked out of the castle parapets and saw in each young person a possible recruit. The kings disgusted him with their refusal to take action in the war and he spat against the wall in disgust. After looking down on the city, lighted by the suns early rays, he went down into the main hall and prepared himself to sign up the new recruits that were almost sure to show up before long. In the pause after the preparation he marveled at the castles intricately carved walls and the beautiful tapestries that hung on the them, portraying heroic deeds done long ago. This was the place that Palandir called home and he loved it dearly.

Apollo, shocked at the recent horrors unleashed upon him, wandered into a nearby town. Spotting a sign asking for recruits for a mecenary guild, Apollo decides to join up. He walks into the main corrodor and is almost immediately lost. Luckilly, a sign which reads "Recruiter's Office" points to a unmarked door in the shadows. He walks in, picks up a form, and fills out the following:

Your Name: Apollo
Your Age:17
Your Class:Archer
Class You Wish To Be: Nomadic Warrior
Your Weapon: Oaken Bow with Bronze Arrows
Your Affinity: Wind
Appearance: 5'7", thin frame, grey, empty eyes, and dark blue hair that contrasts with the tanned skin.
Reason You Fight: Parents were killed by savage raid of bandits, raised by warriors who died recently, and have no purpose in life but to do what I know; Fight.

The Recruiter outfitted Apollo with his weapons, a small sum of gold pieces, and the title "Intellegence Gatherer".

Apollo meekly says "Fine, thank you" and backs into a dark corner. After a few minutes of thinking, reflecting, and recovering from the recent events, Apollo walks up a flight of stairs in the castle to his new room and decides to try and get some rest before taking on his new responsibility. He falls asleep...

Palandir watches the new recruit go and marvels at the ease with which he practically glides up the smooth stone steps... noiselessly. He will be perfect for intelligence gathering, he says to Amras in a positive and strong voice. Not waiting for a reply he goes about his business and gets the next set of papers ready for the next recruit, setting them on the intricately carved wooden table with a feather pen and bottle of ink.

As the new day begins, Apollo jolts into an upright position. "Another sleepless night..." he says. He then goes downstairs to look for Amras. After a little searching, he finds Amras outside the castle, looking at the sky. He then asks "So what do I need to do now?"

Apollo nods at the request and sets off. After traveling all day, he reaches the blockade. He then decides to rest in the bushes to save up energy in case somthing goes wrong.

The next day, Apollo snuck up to the wall. As he rounded a corner, he quickly dashed back at the sight of a patroling officer. Slowly, he knotched an arrow into his bow. He pulled back... aimed...and fired. The arrow flies towards the guard. It hits...but bounces off the guard's helmet. "Stupid bronze..." Apollo said, as the guard starts coming toward his position. He then croutched in anticipation of an ambush. As the guard comes closer, though, Apollo loses his balance and falls to the guard's feet. The guard, surprised at the new person before him, asks "What are you doing here? Wait...the hair...You must be one of those nomads from Sacae!!" He then proceeds to bash Apollo with the hilt of his sword until he passes out...

"Ung..." moans Apollo as he rolls over and begins throwing up. A guard outside his cell begins laughing. "So you're finally awake, nomad? Do you feel like explaining yourself to the General yet?" Apollo replies "What are you talking about? I was just looking for an animal to kill so I could eat for the first time in a while." The guard laughs and says "So you thought Manak was an animal? Because we saw you try to kill him. Oh, that was a miserable shot, too." Apollo sighs and says "Ok, sure." The guard then opens the cell and lashes Apollo's arms and hands together to his back. As they walked through the corridors of the building, Apollo hears some discussion of a battle and fighting. He decides to walk a little further though. The guard leads Apollo to a set of stair, where Apollo makes his move. He pretends to trip, hitting his head pretty hard against the stone floor. As the guard bends over to pick him back up, Apollo uses a grappling technique that was taught to him by his warrior upbringers. He kicked the guard's knees out from under him with his feet, then kicked the guard in the stomach as he fell, then kicked the guard's head as hard as he could into the stone floor. He then got up, twisted his arms around a bit to get them out of the rope, but was unsucessful. After a few more tries, he accidentally dislocated his shoulder, which caused the ropes to loosen just enough to get out of them, but at the cost of nearly losing his stealth as he stiffled a scream of pain. After removing the rope, he relocated his shoulder, took the guard's dagger, and went back to the room where he heard the discussion. But nothing was to be heard. So, he tried the door, but it was locked. He then took the knife and thrusted it between the door and the wall and pushed on it, breaking the door open. But the knife broke in the process, so he put it in the corner of the room he entered.

As he looked around, he saw a ton of maps and charts stored in the walls. But one caught his eye: a map, marked with battle lines and future blockades between Sacae and Pharae. He also found lists of soldiers and where they are being trained, but some of it was blurred and a lot of it was in bad handwriting. So he took the list and the map and left the room. As he walked further down the corridor, he heard men shouting. He then realized that he had forgotten to hide the body of his previous guard. He then ran out a door, which lead into a secluded part of the blockade. He decided to hide the things he aquired in the brush around the main building. He then ran towards what looked to be the general's quarters. But before he even got 30 feet from it, and arrow flew from the jail door and hit his calf, droping him to the ground. He limped, trying to get to get behind some cover, but he was hit again with another arrow in his dislocated shoulder. The pain made him pass out.

When he awoke again, he was in a different room. The arrows in his body had been removed...obviously they wanted to question him. As he sat there, a well-decorated man walked into the room. "I" he said, "am General Romak, and I would like to know why you came here. You attempted to kill one guard, and actually killed another...we're going to have to replace the step his head hit." ((I'll continue tomorrow))

Apollo spat off to the side. Blood, of course. Romak continued..."So why did you come here?" Apollo sneered at the question and said "I think that I have already answered that question to the guard. Wait, I forgot. I killed him. I was looking for something to hunt. Happy?" Romak calmly walked over to Apollo and punched him in the face. Then he began tying Apollo's hands together swiftly. By the time Apollo recovered from the blow, his arms were yet again bound along with his hands. Romak asked another question. "So, who sent you?" Apollo returned with "No one, I came on my own free will to hunt!" At this, Romak became angered. "If you do not tell me why you're here, I will be forced to use more...painful measures. Now, I will ask you once more. Why did you come here?" Sore, tired, dazed from the loss of blood, and in pain, Apollo responded "Do your worst." The general then unsheathed his sword, and calmly walked towards Apollo. When he got arm's length away, he pulled his arms back in an executioner's stance. He swung with all his might, but to no avail. Apollo rolled off the table he was on and moved his arms to where the blade sliced the ropes off. Apollo shook the remnants of the rope from his arms and turned to his enemy, who was recoiling from his last strike. Apollo punched his foe in the stomach, the head, and then in the chest. After this onslaught, he then reached the general's dagger at his side and thrust it into the man's throat. Romak fell to the floor, unable to shout or scream. Apollo then took the Bernian sword with a bit of difficulty, not being taught to use one of such weight. He then carried it out of the room he was in, waiting for a guard to appear. But to his surprise, the only one near was asleep. "Still, it's better to be safe" He plunged the sword deep into the man's chest, killing him quickly. But before he died, he managed to shout "Help!" Apollo rushed out of the building and saw a lot of people going to a single tent and coming out with weapons and armor. He dropped the sword and ran behind another tent, which smelled like the kitchen. "Oh well..." he said. He stealthily entered the tent after avoiding the many guards running around outside. After looking through the piles of swords and lances, he finally found his bow and a supply of bronze arrows. As he left, a shimmer caught his eye, and there was a small bundle of iron arrows. "I'll just take these..." he said as he snatched them up and left. He ran outside of arrow range of the blockade before he realized the chart and list. Upon sneaking back to the blockade, however, there was a guard patrolling the outside of the jail. The guard passed the hiding spot more often than Apollo would have liked, so he decided to take his chances again. He reached for another bronze arrow, but as he knotched the arrow, he remembered what happened last time. He returned the arrow and drew out a iron one. "I hope this works" he muttered to himself as he aimed the deadly projectile at the guard's neck. He fires...

Direct hit. The guard falls to the ground in an area not visible to most of the rest of the blockade. He was amazed at his luck. Apollo quickly rushed to the hiding spot, took the chart and the list from where he left them, and quickly ran off. After stopping for a little while to dress his wounds and fix his shoulder up more. He then finished his journey back to the guild hall and reported what he learned. "Well, Amras, I killed the general like you asked, and also got a little extra in the process." He pulls out the chart and the list. "This chart is a map of the blockades that are to be built along with battle routes to be taken. And the list is a roster of how many soldiers are being trained and at what cities they are being trained at. Now, if you will excuse me, I think I will go sleep for a little while." He left the two items on the desk next to Amras and went up to his bedroom.

Palandir was already looking at the plans... this would be a job for Amras, not him, and this disappointed him. Still it could not be helped and Amras would have to get going quickly if they were going to act on the plans. going out to Amras he told him what he would need to do-

~Mission~

Objectives-
1) Penetrate enemy lines
2) Kill the Captain in the camp
3) Destroy the armory at all costs

Rewards-
1) 30 gold pieces
2) rope
3) ??? ((will depend on grade))

After sleeping off the rest of the afternoon, Apollo got up and went downstairs. As he stepped onto the first floor of the guild, an unfamiliar person was standing in the corner. "Hmm...must be a wannabe Cavalier" thought Apollo at the sight of the flimsy lance next to the person. He continued on his way.

The sun was setting as Apollo reached the training grounds. He drew his bow and one of the original arrows he used. He fired at the target and the arrow hits the outside ring. "Now to try those new arrows..." mumbled Apollo as he knocked one of the new arrows. He let it fly, and it hit dead center. "Wow."

He continued working throught the night...

Mission 1 Break the Blockade

Amras knew that this'd be tough... he headed to the bazaar for equipment. He bought two Vulneraries for 10 gold pieces a piece. ((If you need the store PM me)) With his wallet empty he heads to Sacae.

After traveling a day, resting at night, and getting up once again Amras saw the mobile fortress from which the blockade was deployed. Taking a nap till dusk Amras dreamt.

Awaking to the quiet hush of nearby hunters, Amras draws his dagger and a throwing knife, keeping his normal quiet, cool, and mysterious demeanor. Amras peeks through the brush with his large blue eyes. He can plainly see, even through the darkness, that they were Sacae. There dark blue hair and built nomadic complexion gave them away.

"Hail, plains-riders of Sacae!" Amras greeted standing from the bush. The nomads readied their weapons, then eased as they sensed no danger. "Who are you?" they questioned. "Neigh, but a friend. May I ask of a name to call you." The taller one answered, "Aye, I am Phaelas, and this is Pirnath. And to call you?" "Amras. You are of few who know my name and live." Amras did not bid but a farewell part, except to quickly leave quietly and unnoticed as they turned to each other at the last statement.

Amras walked up to the fortress and wondered how many men it took how long to make this structure. Always hating to go in the front door, Amras looks at the building. A grappling hook would work, all if got is my weaponry and my lockpicks and sort though. Seeing two patrollers talking near one of the towers he sneaked up. To the one facing him he threw a dagger deep into his neck, killing him effortlessly, he leapt from the shadows at the second one stabbing at the kidney and slashing up to the lung. "Humf, worst part about this... little challenge." Amras plucked the knife from his first victim. "Too little of those to be wastin'" He searched his victims taking both their swords and leaving a key on one of them. "Just to make it interesting." He jingled his thieves' tools in his pouch. Disposing of the bodies in a nearby corner, Amras went into the tower they were guarding. He found a coil of rope near the steps. "Perfect..." he grinned. The only fun he had was his job.

He bent the swords slightly and hooked them at the hilt, he tied the rope at the pommels and began to swing it over his head. He let loose... missed. He sighed pulled it back in a swung again. This time it stuck to the parapet. He began to scale the wall when he heard hushed voices. "Lyintic heard from a spy, Vollstedt sent a professional to deal with us." "Well, at least he's takin' this seriously. I long for war." Amras stifled a chuckle... you won't be seein' any. The other said plainly, "I'd like to go home and see my family again." Amras winced. This one'll be tough. This is where it gets fun. Amras leaped to the rampart throwing a knife at the warmonger. Striking him in the leg, he screamed. "You'll pay for that!!!" Sword raised above his head charging he came. "Reckless Kenjitsu is WORHTLESS Kenjutsu." Amras spat. Sidestepping the flailing attacks he ended it with an almost motionless stab between his second and third rib, puncturing the lung. The other came now shocked that his friend died so easily. He took his sword and approached Amras, without attacking.

"Ah, a fencer... too much speed not enough power, at least you'll be more of a challenge than your friend here." With his endlessly deep eyes Amras stared at his enemy. The fencer took the first move lunging for the leg and spinning to the neck. Amras simply stepped back and met the blade with his at least six inches from his neck. The fencer pulled back. The fencer lunged twice once at the head next at the leg. Amras dodged the first easy, but lost his balance on the escape from the second. The lunge missed his leg, but proceeded to cut into his left bicep. "Now I have to switch hands." Amras hissed. He swept the attackers legs from underneath him and leaped on to him. A hand over his mouth and a dagger to his throat, the attacker was subdued. "I want you to listen close. Go to your family, I WILL watch you leave over the wall via grappling hook... I'm pretty good at throwing these." Amras nodded at the dagger. "You pull any funny business I'll drop you." The man nodded. Amras let him go and stood up, and drew on of his throwing knives. The man nodded as he ran for the grappling hook. When he reached the bottom Amras reeled in the rope and threw it as far as he could in the direction of the escape. He watched the man shrink in the horizon toward Bern. "I hope to never meet you again." He whispered as he knelt behind the rampart. "Now to deal with you." Amras pulled out a Vulnerary and bandaged up his arm. As the pain subsided he headed into the tower.

Amras proceeded through the building. Now where would the captain be... I'm sure one of them will know. Amras headed to a group of four soldiers. Approaching them he unsheathed his daggers. He threw one of them deep in to the neck of the one furthest from him, and stabbed the one closest to him from behind through the rib cage. One of the two left ran for help. "Great..." Amras muttered. The other kept his cool and raised his sword above his head. "Ah, a good sword fighter." The fighter spun and swung in one easy motion. Amras ducked, but had no time to retaliate by the time he was ready again. "Wow, how long have you studied Kenjutsu?" Amras asked rhetorically. The fighter swung from above, Amras raised his dagger and blocked while reaching into his cloak. He pulled out one of his throwing daggers and planted it right in his shoulder. Throwing the soldier back, Amras charged at him stabbing him several times in the chest. As the body fell, the reinforcements showed up. Amras somersaulted over one of the dead bodies grabbing the knife from the shoulder and planted it in one of the oncomer's neck. "One down four to go," Amras muttered. They took him two on one side two on another. Amras switched his dagger from left hand to right. If it comes down to my martial arts... The one in front of him came first slashing down upon him. He blocked, as soon as he did he brought an elbow up the attacker from the back. The elbow struck the diaphragm doubling his opponet over. Amras tilted his dagger shifting the oncoming blade's momentum, spun and stuck his dagger between his breathtaken enemy's eyes.Amras attempted to Axe-kick the blade out of the target in from of him. He missed and met a nice lunge to his left clave mussle. He winced in pain as he threw another of his knives at his enemy's chest. "Payback..." only two more, watch how you are using those things... He stood into a back stance, allowing more mobility, putting more weight one his right leg. Once again switched hands. He lined up the enemies keeping it easier to line up. He still had three enemies, one of them taking the dagger from his upper chest. As the three came at him he took defense and parried and ducked under several attacks. Avoiding hitting eachother they were striking vertically. He blocked the one on the left and sidestepped to him and stabbed him twice in the chest and once in the neck. He now targeted the injuried one. He sneaked through a few blows and slashed at his bicep rending his left arm completly useless. He threw a spinning back fist to throw off his other enemy. Forcing to one hand his weapon the fighter's slash came not as hard or fast. Amras took use of this. He tilted his blade slightly to the ground. When he felt the resistance leave his turned and stuck the dagger into the side of his neck. He turned to his last victim. I NEED him alive... The fighter rushed at him. Amras winced in pain as he threw his hurt leg into the enemy's knee. As his knee gave and broke, the fighter violently heaved and the puked.

"Who is your captian here?" Amras asked. "Lyintic..." he gasped. "Where is he." "Second floor," He said, regianing his breath and pride. "You will never get by Bart, though." "Don't worry. You scum are easy one on one." Amras spat at him. Amras bandaged himself up, grabbed his knives, and then left for the second floor.

He got there with ease. The guards passed him twice, without even a passing glance. When he got to the room where he was to be he saw the brute they called Bart. HA, easy kill. Amras sneaked up behind him, and then easily snapped his neck. Amras spat upon him with disgust. He stepped into the war room. "Ah, you must be the spy Pharea sent." "Humf... spy, more like a warrior..." "Sent to kill me?" "Why else would in be here...?" "Lost?" During the conversation he drew his giant axe. The mammoth thundered toward him. Amras backed out from the doorway. He hurled a plethera of knives at him and he hulked toward him. All five stuck in his chest and shoulders. He didn't slow down, but did show signs of pain. This foe IS dominable... As the behemoth sung his collasal axe Amras dodged, flowingly. The bigger they are the harder they fall. Amras stabbed his thigh and slashed his calves, then threw himself upon him. Amras stabbed several times at his chest throwing out the daggers in his body as well. The collosus grabbed him and bashed his head on the ground and threw him into the air. Both, wearied, struggled to their feet. Amras just stayed on the defensive, his best. It was easier then, with the loss of blood Lyintic's blows slowed. In mid-swing he fell. Gasping for breath, Amras eased his passing. He wiped the blood of his head and picked up his axe. "I think this will sell good..." he said to himself. Now to the armory...

As he proceeded to the armory he saw a quarrel. As he approached he saw two familiar looking Sacaens. Phaelas and Pirnath... He ran to them screaming, "Mell met, plains-riders!" When he got to the fight he stabbed the final enemy in the back slicing down his spine.

"What are you doing here?" Amras asked plainly. "Freeing our kinsman." Amras stood puzzled. "How do you think they built this so quickly." "Ahhhh... well I will help you free them, do you know of any architects in there?" "Yes, Le'tag. He has built several things in his days." They answered. "I require his help. Will he coming willingly." "Is there another way to come?" They answered. "Off then!" Amras said. The three of them made sort work of the prison guard and sent the men free. "This is the one we call Le'tag." Phaelas said. "Well met," Amras said "I need your help destroying the armory." He nodded. "Well see your men out, he and I will leave after this is taken care of."

They headed for the armory. Le'tag was suprisingly nimble-footed. When they reached the armory Amras took out the single guard with a thrown dagger. Amras ran in quickly and returned with a lance and a sword. He threw the sword to Le'tag. "When this is done, you WILL need this. Now come, show me when cornerstones are. I want to collapse this room." Le'tag answered "These were poorly built in haste," He pointed at a single brick, "Here is where you will strike. When it crumbles make haste. These are poorly built." Amras nodded and waited for him to leave the room. He then pounded it with the enormous axe. It split and cracked. With one more bash Amras turn tail, and ran. "Come, make haste!" Amras yelled as the room behind him crumbled. "Keep that sword, it is well made, that of an officer." As they ran a few guards came, but in their haste Amras and Le'tag simply slashed and continued with their leave. They exited the fortress running at full speed. Dawn was breaking.

"Thank you Amras. I am the elder of this tribe. I will always welcome you, and so will the rest of my tribe, now your friends. We wander from here to those mountians." He pointed off in the horizon. "That you, but I must make haste to my leige. I will come to visit, later." Amras nodded, then left in a dash.
