Perhaps not a huge issue, though some will take anything to court. But as much as I recognize that the sticker made no claims concerning any other theories of creation, I rather doubt that any of the other texts, issued as factual, and utilized by the schools were similarly labeled with disclaimer stickers.
Just as most of us know that there has been some literary license practiced in history books: Just was most of us understand that paleontology, Newtonian physics, nutrition and medicine have undergone and will continue to undergo adjustments and corrections, every scientific field will undergo continual adjustments and corrections. If we find the need to attach disclaiming stickers to books on evolution, then we will have a similar need to attach such stickers to nearly every historical or scientific text book used in any school. Perhaps the better approach is to simply assure that students are taught that science is always based on theories.
