  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yes! My favorite band. Got there new album today, and it sounds like classic Priest. It isn't extremely heavy like Painkiller, but more like a British Steel or Defenders of the Faith!!! JP fans should pick this one up! I recommend!

they are awesome i can't wait to get the CD
but i don't think they're THAT heavy compared to like Mudvayne but still awesome
lol, you're kidding right. I really think this new album isn't their heaviest, it is more like Defenders. Heavier than Mudvayne? Go listen to Judas Priest - Painkiller! Heaviest album EVER!!! I kid you not!

so thrilled their back together after years apart. kk,glen and rob together again..but i think time has slowed them ..hehe nothing really compares to the sentinel or earlier JP but their giving it a good go at it.I havent bought it yet, sometime this week we're picking it up. Rob Halford is IT.;) I cant think enough of what Metallica(my boys!! love em so no throw the nanners at me!!) would have been like if they'd had vocals like his.You know......he's had opera training..this is why his range is so immense.Love and Hugs to all Priest fans please keep the faith;)

Oh yeah, gotta love Priest! I think my faves are probably Sin After Sin and Painkiller, although the some of the lyrics in the latter are really cheesy...

Why bother comparing JP with johnny-come-lately bands like Mudvayne? Mudvayne is good and all, but please-- when they can prove that they've influenced metal to the undeniable extent that Priest has, come back and we can have this conversation.

im very unhappy with Priest at the moment. they skipped Australia on their supposed "world" tour. i dont think their new album is thtgood IMO. their greatest album is Painkiller, as well as Defenders of the Faith, Screaming for Vengence and Sad Wings of Destiny. good 2 see em back though. Rob Halford and Bruce Dickinson, the two greatest voices in metal. \m/.
