Ever wanted to
Ask Solomon if he
Were alive today as.
How and why his
Went from being the
Wisest of them all
To leaning on other idols.
And not the one true Lord!

How in the world
Did God gave
Him so much.
Only to see Solomon.
Son of David
Really squander so much.
In his later and older years?

God really had
To shake his head.
When he saw
Solomon squander the gifts
He was given by God.
Over idols and other bad things.

Solomon was giving a
Gift by God to lead
The people of Israel.
He started off good
For awhile really good.
Only to falter in the end.

How and why.
It seems that the
Power just went
Through to Solomon's head.

As Solomon could have
Ended on a high
Note the way that
He began on one.
Just like as legendary
As his father David was.

God however did not tear
The kingdom over in the
Days of Solomon but
God could but.
Due to the love God
Had for David, God waited.

It in the time
Of Solomon's son.
As Solomon turned back
From the true and
One God to worship
Idols and gold.

Took up more
And more women.
As he felt like
He needed to have
More but what Solomon
Needed to have was God!

But really that Solomon.
Should had turned to
God rather than idols.
As idols could not
Give him what the
One true God can!

There are a lot
Of leaders like
What Solomon did
But not like what
He did in the taking
Of wives and other things.

What began as a
Godly and awesome way
To begin his reign of
God's people as the earthly king.
Ended on a downward spiral.
Not the way his father David
Would ever envisioned or dreamed.

Really it would not
Happen in the time
Where Solomon was
King in that reign.
But for his son.
Over what Solomon did.

Though it does not
Say if Solomon felt
Guilty after what
He did in the Bible.
But God loved his
Father David and really
David was one of the best Kings
In the OT.

Near the end of his life
Solomon had to deal
With enemies and
Had he not at all.
Turn from God and to
Other gods and got wives.
Who knows if and what
Solomon could had become
And could had been better
Than his father David.
Really sad but true!

Kings and even the.
Queens that start out
Good and that they
Abuse their power at
The expense of others.
But only to really
Not care about others.
It is like that of Solomon.

As they let
The power get to
Through their head
Unfortunately but it is.
How they lean on
God who is the Giver of
Everything good!

Sadly a lot of people
Abuse their power.
Rather than use it
For good and how.
It seems very little people.
Use it for good from what we hear.

God wants us to
Keep on remembering
To vote but also.
On looking at people
From their hearts and souls.
Using their power for good.
Not to abuse it.

Will the would be
Leaders let us down.
More times than ever.
As that they pay
For their mistakes as well.
