Life will never be perfect
Due to us being sinners and
Falling short of God's glory
But keep in mind that our parents
Took care of us as babies to
Kids but now when they are
Aging and it is our turn as the tables
Do indeed turn in taking care of our
Mom and dad over when they age.

In the doing so and
Zeroing in on the knowing that
It will be coming sooner than
Later as we need to take care of our
Parents that will age and have
Health challenges like my dad with Parkinson's
My mom with her lupus and so forth
However God is the Great Healer and Physician
As believers we will never at all be
Facing on the diseases that sadly
Claim lives or like in my dad's case
He can't walk and has to use a wheelchair.

JPPT1974's Mon Thoughts 5/5/2025:
Quite frankly as dealing with this as
Our father, grandfather, and great-grandfather
Knowing that he can't do things the
Way he used to do but in a sense
Reluctantly will have to accept it.
Christ will make sure we don't have to
Do this alone with helping him and
Mom one day when all is about
Said and done but we will do this as a family!

JPPT1974's Tues Thoughts 5/6/2025:
Are you more of a Martha a
Doer that wants to really
Get the job done and really
Wants to make first impressions?
Or like her sister Mary who really
Listened and did the "right" thing in
Jesus eye when He went to their house as they
Lived with their brother Lazarus.
I am more of a Martha as need to be
Really more of a Mary!

JPPT1974's Wed Thoughts 5/7/2025:
We really are a Martha
And that even though she
Meant well and wanted Mary to
Help her out and thought that
By sitting at Jesus feet hearing
In Martha's point of view
She really did the best to please
Jesus but only needing one thing of Him
Mary was doing just that.

Jesus told her not to
Do so many things but
Zero in on the one most
Important thing that Jesus would
Want from people like Mary
She heard Him and wanted to
Be near Him and knowing that
In Jesus words, to be the believer she
Meaning Mary needed to be.

JPPT1974's Mother's Day Weekend 2025
Mary though in really in a
Sense should have helped but
Jesus knew that Mary's heart
Was doing the right thing and
That is what Jesus needed and
Even though Martha meant well
Really Mary chose the best and rightful
Decision sitting at Jesus feet.

Christ wants us to not
Work too hard aka a Martha
But wants us to be like a
Mary and in the sitting at the
Feet of our Lord and Savior
Knowing that all He wants
Is our attention and the
Best interest at heart for us to
Lean on the Lord Jesus.

Clearing over in how
We need to put aside the cleaning
Up in order to be at the
Feet of Christ and that it is
All He wanted from Martha and
Really Mary and us to do
Knowing when we do that not just in
Presence but in heart, mind, and soul
He wants only from us.

When we spend time in
His word, prayer, and with
Other believers in fellowship and
Worship on it and that
Knowing we can learn on the
Lord when He just wants our attention
Really nothing more nor less.
Though Martha meant well as Mary
Knew where her priorities layed at.

And when we become more
Like a Mary than a Marthe
As the latter meant very well
Wanting to please her friend and
Lord and Savior but needed to really
Focus on being in His presence and
Quietly leaning on Him as it is like
In being in quality and not in
Quantity to allow Him and His
Presence over in our lives.

You know it may mean
That over in where Martha
Was meaning well and that
Mary was being lazy but
Really Jesus saw the whole
Entire story and how that Mary
Was indeed doing on the good thing
Listening at Jesus feet!

We don't get in the story
Very much at length whether
It changed Martha over in
Really as much as she did her
Best to make Jesus feel very
Comfortable but that Jesus said
Mary only did the best thing in sitting at the
Feet of Jesus Christ that day.

JPPT1974's Weekend Thoughts 5/16-5/18/2025:
Martha and Mary along with their
Brother Lazarus would become very
Close friends and allies of Jesus
How that He would look at them as
Family even when He faced so much
Adversity and insults from His enemies
You see He looks up to Lazarus, Martha,
And Mary like family on it.

We can only hope that
Even though it doesn't say much
About Jesus relationship with the
Trio on it and in the coming to them
When He felt He needed someone to
Be with and have family though
Not by blood but they were in
United by love and care.

Jesus would be tired all around
Not just physically but in emotionally and
Spiritually and in how that in the
Very three short years before that
Brutal cross and beatings as
Lazarus, Martha, and Mary all three
Were not just family and friends but
Confidants that Jesus needed and vice versa.

JPPT1974's Mon Thoughts 5/19/2025:
We may feel like a Martha
But Jesus needs to be feeling
Like a Mary and in the
Sitting by the feet of Jesus as
When a pastor/preacher needs from
Us in listening all around and
Focused on what Jesus wants from us
And for us in His will and way.

My niece the youngest of my
Five nephews and two nieces
And my niece in law that is a
Married mom of two that
Are graduating from college as
Well as in the hoping to get their
Master's degrees in teaching for the
Deaf and in the hearing impaired.

My niece the youngest of my

That is awesome. I'm so glad they have that calling. They will do big things. I think they got that calling from the Lord!

They are young ladies
Who have in the promising
Future and knowing that the
Sky is in the limit and
Knowing that God will be
Front and center over in their
Lives as they want to be teachers.
