Just wanted to share that this past Sabbath my wife was baptized. What a blessing to see how God has worked in her life over the last 2 years. Coming from a background that had no idea who or what God really was to giving her life over to Jesus has been a tremedous blessing for me. And on top of all that we had our 8 month old twins dedicated to the Lord right afterwards. Thanks be to God for how the Holy Spirit is working throughout the world.

Were you SDA when you met her or did you just happen to come to an understanding of the truth before her?

I actually have been an SDA since 2000. My late wife and I joined the church, but when she died in 2007, life raising our 2 children took its toll and I was swallowed up in the world. I never questioned any of my beliefs and still loved to read my Bible, but my heart just wasn't in it. But, praise God, He used the negative to bring about a positive. I found a new job that led me into the health field and after meeting the needs of others my heart started to break and the Holy Spirit began to mend it. Longing to share the things that were happening in my life, I met my current wife 2 years ago (online of all places lol) and through her questions about my Adventist beliefs I started studying even more dilegently. And as she saw my faith return and my acceptance of her and her little son, she too began to study. It has been a long road for her. But I am so proud of her for stepping out in faith and giving her life to God. This was just her public proclaimation that she had given her life to Him. In the last few months she has started a prayer page ministry on facebook that has really taken off among her saved/unsaved friends as well as others who stumble across it from around the world. We have met many wonderful people through it and experience God answering many of these requests. Only God can bring about this type of change and it is to Jesus we give all the glory!!
