joy & peace

The Bible speaks of joy inexpressable and peace which transcends understanding. HOW does one go about experiencing these things?

(other than becoming a christian, praying, reading the Bible, going to church, Bible studies, fellowship with other christians)

As for me,I am mostly continuously experiencing the Joy and Peace of God. How? By keeping His presence close to me throughout every day. I love to spend hours and hours at His feet(however I am not employed and am widowed/single). I try to be conscious of His presence,always,and talk to Him throughout the day,meditate on Him,read His word,listen to praise/worship music,to put it simply"just Love Him,and make Him part of your everyday life".

I too try to keep God's presence close to me throughout the day. I work nights as a baker and this gives me the opportunity for complete focus on Him. This gives me so much joy and peace it borders on unexplainable. I pray daily that He will continue to uplift me with His joy and He faithfully answers that prayer.
With His joy and peace, I can deal with issues that arise alot better knowing He's in charge and will always be there for me.
