Do you guys think it is better to write to God in a journal or to pray out loud? I do both, but I write to Him more than I speak out loud. Is it okay to do that? Or should I pray out loud more?

I belive it is perfectly find to write a prayer to God instead of saying one out loud. It's not so much what you do but what is in your heart. Some of my most heartfelt and longest prayers were not thought or spoken, but written down in a journal instead.

I love journaling. I write my prayers in a journal every night. I just feel like it keeps me focused better on Him. Sometimes when I am just praying, my mind wanders and goes in its own direction. To me, when I am journaling, it is just me and Jesus having a conversation. I also like journals because I can go back and read them and see the ways He has answered my prayers. Also, when I have a really emotional day or big event I pray about, I like going back and reliving those emotions. A lot of times this helps me feel close to Him when other things try to pull me away.
