CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Most likely yes (to the question of reading to much in)! I was really following the last Shemitah thing from 2015 which didn't happen, well it should have happened to the US. There was a down turn in China where he reinterpreted it as being a success and applying to them rather than us, the only problem is that doesn't really follow the set up of the Harbinger. China would have had no Covenant with God etc. of course the whole concept of trying to draw parallels between the actual literal covenant of God and Israel to some kind of metaphorical one between God and American Fore Fathers is somewhat dubious, not even counting that a large chunk of them were Masonic / Deist rather than some kind of Christian.

He seems to be narrating a similar era I'm following, but I tend to see OT recurrence in the NT era as an anti figure.
