  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Well I delivered on Sunday at 28 weeks, 2 days. My embronic sac broke, they don't know why, on Wednedays and they delayed birth until Sunday. Giving them two days to give me steriods for his lungs. He is doing well thanks to great doctors, nurses and prayer. He is off all breathing help and the only tube still in him is the feeding tube. I am pumping to get milk but none yet so please pray I get some by tomarrow, it's so much better for him. I can't bring him home for 6 more weeks and he has other criteria to meet but I did get to hold him before I came home last night and I am going to get to see him as much as I can. The hospitol is an hour or so away and we have to travel to see him. He is Jonah and was 2 lbs. 6 ozs. and 15 inches. Please keep him in your prayers.

Praying for you and Jonah.

Are you on any hormone therapy to induce milk production?

No just pumping. They started me in a couple hours after birth. I pump every three hours for twenty minutes. I got the beginnings of milk today. Yea! I have it in the fridge to take with me tomarrow. Hopefully I will get a few more bottles today so he will have a supply. I should be able to get up there almost every day but really want him on breastmilk and so do they. I imagine if I don't produce well hormones will be the next step.

All is going well. He is breathing on his own still and his IV came out yesterday. He is up to 12 ccs a feeding and I have made some milk but it's still inconsistant. I am not giving up though. He is almost at his birthweight again and he is opening his eyes when we hold him. They will do some blood work this week to check things out but seems he is progressing without incident thanks to God, prayer and a great staff of people at the hospitol. I will try to come one more often to update. Lots of traveling.
