I was a member of another board for 3 years. It isn't Christian. It is actually full of very liberal folks. But over time I was able to establish trust and relationships with many of them. They were very sweet in their tolerance for my Christian voice. And many would privately ask questions. There are other Christians there, sprinkled like salt.
But. My heart closed quite suddenly. I'm sad. For the first time I asked myself, "what am i doing here?" So, I googled for like minds. And found this site.
I decided to really stay and check it out after I read the rules. I love the rules! They are so freeing! At one point in my life I would have read them as confining. But God does work in miraculous ways, doesn't He?
My testimony is typical. As Solomon said, there is nothing new under the sun--or something like that?
I went on a four day retreat this past weekend and the things God revealed are astounding, to me. He isn't afraid to dig up secrets is He? LOL
Above all else, God is with us.
