CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I am actually in the delayed entry program for the Air Force. I'll be starting basic training sometime after March 13th. My first job choice was electronic signals intelligence exploitation; I also listed several other intelligence jobs after that, and then a few computer jobs. My ASVAB scores were:
General=90
Administrative=91
Mechanical=94
Electrics=98
General=90
Administrative=91
Mechanical=94

28 yrs USAF. 19 in recruiting. Loved every minute of it.
DOD does a survey every year of all branches and asks the question which branch takes best care of its members and AF comes out on top time and time again.
I never discourage anyone from joining any branch of service. Best advice I can give it talk to folks serving in as many as you can. Planning a family? Which one is most family friendly? Which one will I be deployed the most and in what career field? Which branch has the higher enlistment standards. Physical, mental and moral qualifications. check them all out....good luck

When are you supposed to go to BMT? I was a network signals analyst, so I could answer any questions you have about intel, the tech school, etc. Just pm me or something.
