  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

The Blues of Susie's Nephew

Here's Jimmy playing tourist
Nervous as a cigarette
Runnin' guns for Auntie Susan
Down by Sixtieth Avenue

They tell him, Jimmy you're too young
To be acting in this set
Why don't ya tell ol' Susie
To just forget about you

'Cause here the men kill for pleasure
And you don't want to laugh yet
We haven't seen flowers blooming
Ever since we met ol' Sue

So, tell me Jimmy, how is business
I've heard bullets are scarce
The kids prefer the boxcutters
And they all aim for the face
So, tell me Jimmy, why you so blue
Isn't Susie loving you
It will be over as soon
As you brake the Avenue

They told you momma's crying
But you didn't say a thing
She sang you happy birthday
And bought a cake for you

I know the skies are darker
Than the usual shade of gray
But Jimmy, home can be so patient
God's waitin' just for you

So, tell me Jimmy, how is Susie
I've heard her water broke
The kids prefer to drown now
'Cause they never learned to swim
So, tell me Jimmy, how is you
Doesn't Jesus cherish you
He saw you in the news
Brakin' Sixtieth Avenue

..thanks, man....

Dawn

This is for you my darling
My pretty Stacey
I love it how you detonate
And dance inside my eardrums
I'm tripping for you darling
My pretty baby
Scream one more time for me
'Cause it's so quite here, Stacey

Oh, I hope that you come back
And brake the precious silence
Since last September I've been deaf
Because I met you when you left

This is for you my darling
My pretty Stacey
Let me swim in your lips
And dive into your sea
I'm tripping for you darling
My pretty baby
God made the noise for you
'Cause it's so quite here, Stacey

If I could send you flowers
I'd lose you in a garden
My pretty baby, Stacey
This is for you my darling

2:14 A.M.

It's been a while since I've seen the sun
My memories are just freezing cold
I hate to see you smiling as you walk
And tell me how you pity me

My gun is tucked into my chest
Just another day for me to blow away
I hate to see you crying as you hug me
And tell me things I won't forget

Do not forget about me
It's the nicest thing
Anyone has ever said to me

I see you in your shell all quite and still
My state is an excuse for you to leave
I hate to see her tired of my words
And writing her name across my arms

I want you to leave me now
I need you to say goodbye
Can't you push me aside
'Cause I'm in love with you
I'm bleeding just for you
But you don't care
I am not good enough
For you, I guess

I hate to yield to what you make me feel
And write my most pathetic song about
How much I need you
