Here is some advice. Read the whole Bible especially the New Testament before reading "Christian books". You will spot the heresy rather easily. I suppose if one does not know Messiah means anointed one AND that Christ means anointed one in Greek you might fall for this. Jesus Christ literally means Jesus the anointed(by God)and that means Messiah.

Hebrews 1

But of the Son he says,
‘Your throne, O God, is* for ever and ever,
and the righteous sceptre is the sceptre of your* kingdom.
9You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness;
therefore God, your God, has anointed you
with the oil of gladness beyond your companions.
’

1 john 2

Who is the liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ?* This is the antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the Son. 23No one who denies the Son has the Father; everyone who confesses the Son has the Father also. 24Let what you heard from the beginning abide in you. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, then you will abide in the Son and in the Father. 25And this is what he has promised us,* eternal life.

Jesus never said this?

John 4
The woman said to him, ‘I know that Messiah is coming’ (who is called Christ). ‘When he comes, he will proclaim all things to us.’ 26Jesus said to her, ‘I am he,* the one who is speaking to you.’

John 4

The woman he was speaking to was a Samaritan not a Jew.

He never claimed to be the King or Messiah of the Jews . Every time he was asked he skirted the question.

But when speaking to this Samaritan woman he admitted to being her Messiah and thereby one would assume her peoples.

This is where John Hagee said one cannot blame the Jews for not accepting him.

It was all part of a greater plan.

He did not come to rule the first time. He comes to rule when he returns in the clouds.

So, as a Christian, what is your excuse Carey?

Luke 18:31 Then 1 Jesus 2 took the twelve aside and said to them, “Look, we are going up to Jerusalem, 3 and everything that is written about the Son of Man by the prophets will be accomplished. 4

Luke 22:37 For I tell you that this scripture must be 5 fulfilled in me, ‘And he was counted with the transgressors6 For what is written about me is being fulfilled.” 7

Mat. 27:37
Above 1 his head they put the charge against him, 2 which read: 3 “This is Jesus, the king of the Jews.”

Carey ,

So now you change the subject again. Samaritans were not technically Gentiles either. The disciples were Jews and as to the others if they would have followed the scriptures would know he is the Messiah. That was the problem.

John 10

At that time the festival of the Dedication took place in Jerusalem. It was winter, 23and Jesus was walking in the temple, in the portico of Solomon. 24So the Jews gathered around him and said to him, ‘How long will you keep us in suspense? If you are the Messiah,* tell us plainly.’ 25Jesus answered, ‘I have told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in my Father’s name testify to me; 26but you do not believe, because you do not belong to my sheep. 27My sheep hear my voice. I know them, and they follow me. 28I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one will snatch them out of my hand. 29What my Father has given me is greater than all else, and no one can snatch it out of the Father’s hand.* 30The Father and I are one.’

In addition to this He told me by his actions and fulfillment of prophesy. If you went to a church and saw a man standing in a tuxedo and held a ring after sending out announcements to the time and place would you say that this is the groom? Would the woman in the white dress perhaps be the bride? Ridding on the donkey was saying I am the Messiah as yet another example. Everyone knew the claim but most did not believe because they expected to be free of Rome.

Now as to the Jews I repeat nearly all the early Christians were Jews. Paul preached to the Jews and finally said.

Acts 28

o they disagreed with each other; and as they were leaving, Paul made one further statement: ‘The Holy Spirit was right in saying to your ancestors through the prophet Isaiah,
26“Go to this people and say,
You will indeed listen, but never understand,
and you will indeed look, but never perceive.
27For this people’s heart has grown dull,
and their ears are hard of hearing,
and they have shut their eyes;
so that they might not look with their eyes,
and listen with their ears,
and understand with their heart and turn—
and I would heal them.”
28Let it be known to you then that this salvation of God has been sent to the Gentiles; they will listen.’*

Jesus never admitted this to the Jews . Only to his apostles and the Governor in Matthew 27 : 12When he was accused by the chief priests and the elders, he gave no answer.

But Jesus did not admit this to the Jewish people as a whole or the Jewish peoples leaders.
Matthew 27 : 12When he was accused by the chief priests and the elders, he gave no answer.

He only did to his apostles ( followers ) and gentiles.
So technically Hagee is right. On this topic anyway.
I don't agree with everything he says but on this he is correct.

You can go on hating Jews until you end up in hell if you Choose .

here is what John 10 says

John 10 : 19At these words the Jews were again divided
( because he never technically admits to it )

25Jesus answered, "I did tell you, but you do not believe. The miracles I do in my Father's name speak for me,( still not saying and admitting )

38But if I do it, even though you do not believe me, believe the miracles, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father."
( again never actually admitting )

40Then Jesus went back across the Jordan to the place where John had been baptizing in the early days. Here he stayed 41and many people came to him. They said, "Though John never performed a miraculous sign, all that John said about this man was true." 42And in that place many believed in Jesus.( and this was not to the Jews as a whole )

Don't believe me believe your Bible.

That is admitting to it. Interesting how defending Jesus Messianic claims and stating that Christianity was founded by Jews that understood theses claims is hateful of Jews.

Do you still also insist that Jesus was not God?

What do you think this says??

1 Corinthinas 15 : 24Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power
28When he has done this, then the Son himself will be made subject to him who put everything under him, so that God may be all in all.

That Jesus is God and the Son of the God the Father. And you? Is Jesus God or is he not?
