I am really looking forward to this miniseries based upon the best-selling book by David McCullough.

My cable company recently sent an offer for 2 free months of HBO so I subscribed for the next couple of months - it runs March 16 through April 20.

I read the book and if the series does it any justice it will be a great show (I think the running time is something like 8 hours overall.)

Thoroughly enjoying the series... though I could have done without the awkward sex scene at the beginning of tonights episode. Not that it was graphic or explicit or anything... it was just, I don't know... a bald Paul Giamatti... shudder...
I do think they have conveyed the relationship between John and Abigail Adams quite well, none the less.

I saw that the series was coming to HBO, but it really didn't grab my interest. I later heard about it on the radio and it got a great review there so gave it a pass on the DVR and started watching over the weekend.

It's been interesting so far. The cast has been excellent. I can't speak to it's historical accuracy. I've tried to see what Christian historical scholars, such as D. James Kennedy, have said but haven't seen anything.

They have really downplayed the Adams' religious foundations. It has been fairly accurate to David McCullough's book, otherwise. The main focus has been John Adams' political achievements.
This weekends episode looks promising.
