  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

1-4 I get out of this, that when Jesus came to the world, those that have impairments such as blindness, paralyzed and mentally ill are to be demonstrations of Gods holy power. Through the holy spirit you hear of people with impairments prospering emotionally to Gods love. No longer are Children punished for their fathers sins, or fathers fathers sins.

But I remember seeing a parapalegit who was perfectly happy the way she was because she had the holy spirit to comfort her. She cant move, do anything by herself, but because of it she got to know the Lord Jesus and his healing power. What powerful testimony!

4-6 I never knew Jesus predicted this time. We no longer have prophets that hear God, or do miracles. With the Apostles that was it. Everything is done threw the counselor, the Holy Spirit.

Id thought Id share this passage as it spoke to me. And thats my interpretation.

Your headed in the right direction. Just a hint when you work with the scriptures read the whole chapter you may also need to read the whole book in which that scripture is sited to gain a full understanding. Also reseach other scriptures that might be related from other books (both OT and NT) of the bible.

Acts 15:15
And with this the words of the prophets agree, just as it is written:

Remember Jesus used parables and miracles to reach the people. Jesus used the miracle of healing the blind man to try and show the Pharisees they still had not repented.

John 9:39-41
And Jesus said, "For judgment I have come into this world, that those who do not see may see, and that those who see may be made blind." Then [some] of the Pharisees who were with Him heard these words, and said to Him, "Are we blind also?" Jesus said to them, "If you were blind, you would have no sin; but now you say, 'We see.' Therefore your sin remains.

Luke 16:27-31
"Then he said, 'I beg you therefore, father, that you would send him to my father's house, for I have five brothers, that he may testify to them, lest they also come to this place of torment.' Abraham said to him, 'They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.' And he said, 'No, father Abraham; but if one goes to them from the dead, they will repent.' But he said to him, 'If they do not hear Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded though one rise from the dead.' "
