I'm an artist. I sometimes make icons. The word icon comes from the Greek word for image. Greek Orthodox icons are employed as a vehicle of spiritual meditation. I think you can do the same with verses by superimposing them over a beautiful image. The combination of the two can make the words transmit feeling and even spiritual awe.
