Joe's uncle

My fiance Joe's uncle shot himself yesterday, and he is now brain dead.

Joe's aunt said that he had been suffering greatly do to wounds he received during WWII, and due to flashbacks from the war. He had taken part in four invasions, which changed his heart and his psyche; he came back from the war suffering from depression, and despite the doctor's best efforts, nothing helped him.

He leaves behind his wife, three grown children, and seven grandchildren.

His wife is the one who found him after he wounded himself. She's very upset.

He was 79 years old, and married for 58 years.

Please pray for the family, and for all people now in the armed services, that they never have to go through what Joe's uncle has been going through.

This is a heartbreaker to me. So many Patriots suffer so much and so few seem to care or even care to know.

This was a great American who sacrificed so much for his country. I am sad for him and his family. My heartfely prayers are for them.

I will pray, War is so hard on these men and women, it just shows they are still giving their lives long after active duty is over. God Bless this family, and the families of all veterans. God bless our veterans, and our active soldiers.

I will pray for his family, and for all those he left behind. Of all the ways to lose a loved one, I think has got to be one of the hardest.

My father is a veteran of the Vietnam war. He has never recovered from what he experienced as a young man. I pray for and honor all of our veterans and their families.
