My deaf nephew is having a hard time finding a job, probably because of his disability.
His speech is somewhat difficult to understand when you first meet him, so some people assume that he is mentally retarded (my silly neighbor asked me one day, "Is he slow at everything or is that just the way he talks?"), but his IQ is in the high 130's.
Well, today he has a job interview as a stock boy in a parts department of a local auto dealer. Greg is in the Auto Mechanics program at his high school, so this would be right up his alley.
Please pray that the interviewers can see past the speech defect and see the wonderfully bright young man Greg is.
