I also recognize him as one of the LSB's principal translators (I believe that he was a Greek professor).


Does Dr. Chou mention "predestination" in the sermon that you posited for us in the OP? I ask because I jumped around a bit, listening to several parts of it, and found him talking about both the text of Job 38, and a number of different topics, as well, but "predestination" was not one of them.

Perhaps I missed it however? If you know where he teaches about that topic (predestination, that is), could you point it out to us (I'm not sure if I'll be able to listen to the entire sermon, at least not before the new year anyway).

Chou's sermon (after skimming it anyway) seemed to be principally focused on Job's personal relationship with God (and more specifically, what it should have been like instead of what it was like, at first anyway), so I'm not sure how it and your OP topic relate.

I'll listen through the whole of it as soon as I'm able to and comment if I think that I have something to add to the thread (in regard to the Chou sermon, or just in general). It is an interesting topic to consider, so thanks for that
