Mom and I have decided to do a Bible Study on 1 Peter since that is what is being studied at Church on Sundays. Since I won't be able to attend for at least several weeks I think that is a great idea.

Great! That's what we are studying at my shul! I am finding it interesting how beautifully Peter wrote. --This "unlearned man!" It's like reading poetry! I also think it is interesting how much like David he was.

Peter certainly had a gift for beautiful writing, especially like you said from a "unlearned" man. I can't wait to get into studying the scriptures with my Mom. It has been a long time since we both have studied the scriptures together.

Well, today my boy Eric got his first sword...Grandpa got it for him and brought it over...it's a replica from Lord of the Rings...it's pretty sweet...very cool...he's a happy camper...

Had Stuffed Porkchops today, wonderful as always...Dawny rocks the kitchen

Before I met Dawny in early 2000, lunch and dinners for me was usually canned food, cereal, cookies, reeses lol....but since Dawny, oh man, best eaten ever...she's Italian and has introduced me to some of the best meals...Mmmmmmmmm

Sounds good. I have heard those Italian Women can cook. I am Irish and I learned a lot from my Mom who is a great cook.

You're Irish? NICE...me too...my 5th Great Grandpa was James Fitzpatrick Moore, born and raised in Dublin...came to America during the Revolutionary War...

So, I have to ask, do you love potatoes as much as I do? lol....I can eat potatoes every day, not a problem...love 'em raw, peeled and salted, mmmmmmm

Haven't ever eaten them raw like that, but I love baked and mashed potatoes.

I love me some Twice Baked Potatoes....wow, I just ate, but startin' to get hungry again...

Twice baked potatoes are wonderful. I also love Garlic Mashed Potatoes.
