Thanks for all your ideas. Turns out I had the cabbage with butter and salt on it. Not bad and my dog liked it, too. Cabbage soup, yes I've had it a long time ago. Yum

That is the way (with butter and salt, and a pinch of pepper) to fix cabbage.
Soup sounds odd...
But as a kid we so often had cabbage stewed to death, so the thought of soup reminds me of that.

I've had Cheerios recently...usually eat them plain with honey...or I'll have the honey nut ones with a banana cut up in them. The chocolate cheerios are good too.
