i've seen a lot of chruch people controlled by demons, and a few set free, but haven't seen any (in or out of church) overpowered and driven away naked recently.

Most people inside churches today are asleep spiritually. They go through the motions and don't do much for the kingdom. Do you think the demons want to wake them up?

remember corrie ten boom who survived the holocaust and visited 63 countries for the sake of delivering the GOOD NEWS OF GOD'S LOVE ?

she never had a fund raiser, had no committee nor church to fund her travels for the GOSPEL, and she never asked for money.

she once was up front giving her testimony, and she and the whole congregation she was speaking to were very DROWSY(sleepy)(heads nodding)... ... ... it wasn't a normal kind of being tired... ... ...

she took authority in Jesus' Name and right out loud (imagine that! ) commanded in Jesus' Name that the demons leave , and the demons left, and everyone was wide awake and alert, as was she, for the rest of the message.

this has been noted by others serving God, that lethargy/ unusual tiredness/ may be from the influence of demons much more often than Christians realize.

but if
someone who is not immersed in Jesus tries to drive demons away, they may well end up overpowered by the demons as the seven sons of sceva were,
as
the demons easily and always can see directly without hesitation who is in Jesus and who is not, more easily than carnal people can tell if a person has a 3ft wart on their nose.
