So, I'm watching this guy on TV preaching, or what he seems to think is preaching.
He is telling everyone that God wants us all to be wealthy.
This is sickening.
He is telling the crowd that God doesn't want you to be meek when approaching Him - that God wants you to step right up and claim your due boldly - BOLDLY! He's yelling it now, and striding around.
I guess he's one of those "Word of Faith" people, preaching the prosperity gospel. It really is nauseating.
He tells us that Jesus became poor so that we can become rich. He tells us that Jesus and the Apostles had enough money to feed the thousands without the miracle of the loaves and fishes.
How in the world could anyone who has even read just a little bit of the Bible come away from it believing that Jesus wanted us all to be wealthy and will give us new cars and promotions if we will only "name it and claim it."
It is such a perversion. How ridiculous that these guys are so popular.
How in the world could anyone come to the conclusion that Jesus came to promote wealth?
He says, "Our God is not 'Ah'll Get By,' our God is 'El Shaddai - the God of More than Enough!' "
