One third of my poems are Spiritual  like the one I shared.
One third of my poems are Instructional, like about our body's health
One third of my poems are Fun, like this one being :clap:playful...
You know this Scripture:
A happy heart is good medicine and a cheerful mind works healing,
but a broken spirit dries up the bones.” – Proverbs 17:22

a little Poem I wrote couple of weeks ago:

"Even in winter, our Evergreen forest is just fine!
We watch icicles on Alders, Hemlock & one Pine.

I heard this Santa yell
santa-smiley-ho-ho-ho.gif
after he got himself
LOST :o in waist-deep.. snow.

We invited him IN, for some warm :yum: MINT-tea; &
afterwards he shook his belly in Satisfied glee

Soon, he had to get on his way
t7706.gif
to millions of other homes,
ALL AROUND the WORLD, he had no time to say..."

Thanks for sharing your poetry

Lost in the wilderness of the heart
we pray for light and a new start
we journey seeking the promised land
and out of the heaven's comes a Man
to lift us out of the dust and all vice
He suffered for us the pearl of great price
and now we come to praise and remember
our dear Lord's birth in this month of December :)

I just wrote this up. For some reason I cannot find my poems. This is something of the way I write.

I'm off to sleep early tonight. Talk with you tomorrow :)

Into the Wilderness & The Sacred "Ten"

One path went right through the wilderness to the Promised Land ... process for us is found in the New Man, again we ... off from being a Hebrew to start a new nation in the wilderness?

I just started a thread for fellowship and sharing the good news :)

And here is a celebratory poem for this thread I think you will really like.

Jesus came to the earth wise but meek and mild
Not just to please us but to save the little child
the little child we are before the heavenly Father
not allowing the innocent to be led to the slaughter
He came Himself as a child born into poverty
to show us true riches are found in charity
And what the world deems as foolish we see as clarity

To show us that even sinners are greatly loved
and gave us the Holy Spirit and called us beloved
Now in darkest dark we are filled with hope
and in greatest storms we have grace to cope
We are not here just for ourselves alone
As trusting children we help others find home.

Hope you enjoy this one

I think I resonate with your top six

Another contribution

When I was in my last year with the Capuchin Franciscans and it was time to move out I looked for a room/apartment to live in. It was a challenging time for me. Every place I looked at was crawling with cockroaches and signs of mice. I had very little money. I cried and prayed in chapel by myself for God to help accommodate me in the world. The next day I saw an ad in the paper for a place and checked it out. It seemed ideal for me. The linen and dishes, pots, pans and furnishings were provided.

Now at this time I was reading a book called Heliotropium which means sunflower. It was a book about obedience to God and the sunflower represents conformity because as it turns to follow the sun so the disciple follows the light wherever it may be even if it is clouded. I looked at the dishes provided, they had a beautiful sunflower on the front and on the back it said: Made by the Franciscans of England. I took the apartment but could not pay right away. The landlord was ok with that because he said he had a good feeling about me. I became friends with the landlord and it was a great place for me to live :)

The Lord works in wondrous ways

Ookay,
I think you misunderstood. -
For one I don't like being boss. Too, I didn't say
you couldn't share poetry in here, as obviously we have shared FIVE  already.
All I said & meant is that I don't want this Limited to Celebratory-poems only...

I like the Variety... with which God/Jesus Blessed us, from Nature, to BABY's, to other  children, to all kinds of things. okay?

saw my Calves & Feet now FOUR  times as swollen, & gasped...)

Normally I have a very healthy Figureskating body.

Praying for you about your legs and feet.

It will be nice for you when the paperwork is all done. More time and space for other things as we approach the Lord's Birthday.
I have four days off around that time. A good time to be off, reflect on the birth and celebrate. It will be like a mini retreat for me :) Although I will check in here and make calls.
