It doesn't say anything wrong, but I'm just saying, that if a verse says what it's supposed to say, no matter what version it is, then I'm "okle-dokle" with it

BTW Isn't the Lord's prayer John 17?That is where He prayed for us believers.

I think Matthew 6:9-13 must be classified as the Lord's model prayer for He himself did not pray this but said you must pray this way.

lol...nice disclaimer And I've learned the prayer both ways - I think when we fuss over translation we miss the point, and for many, sticking to KJV keeps them outta those rough waters. Best if we respect that decision. Not all of us think alike, and praise God for it! (thinks of tons of Whitneys running around and shudders)

Praise God in Heaven I would ask for no other way to have it!

I remember reading somewhere i sign posted above the door of a church that said something like this:

"If every Christian was like you... would you want to remain a Christian?"

and on the exit of the door is said:
"If ever member of the church was like you... would you want to remain a member of the church?"

I LOVE THOSE!!!!
