Jesus is the propitiation for the sins of the whole WORLD

1 John 2:
1 My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. 2 He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.
Strong's Greek: 2889. κόσμος (kosmos) — 186 Occurrences
What is the meaning of kosmos here?
BDAG κόσμος:
① that which serves to beautify through decoration, adornment
② condition of orderliness, orderly arrangement, order
③ the sum total of everything here and now, the world, the (orderly) universe
④ the sum total of all beings above the level of the animals
⑤ planet earth as a place of inhabitation
⑥ humanity in general
⑦ the system of human existence in its many aspects
ⓐ as scene of earthly joys, possessions, cares, sufferings
ⓑ the world, and everything that belongs to it, appears as that which is hostile to God, i.e. lost in sin, wholly at odds w. anything divine, ruined and depraved
⑧ collective aspect of an entity, totality, sum total
Let's see the broader context:
15 Do not love the world or the things in the world.
That's meaning # ⑤, the material world on earth.
If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life—
That's meaning # ⑦ⓑ, the sinful desires contrary to God's.
is not from the Father but is from the world. 17 And the world is passing away along with its desires,
That's meaning # ③, ⑤, ⑥, and ⑦, the all inclusive evil cosmos.
but whoever does the will of God abides forever.
Humans sin against God. We need atonement. Jesus is the propitiation for our sins.
In the broader sense, why did the cosmos require propitiation?
Genesis 3:
17 To Adam he said, “Because you listened to your wife and ate fruit from the tree about which I commanded you, ‘You must not eat from it,’ “Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat food from it all the days of your life.
Adam sinned. As a consequence, the ground was cursed. The ground needs propitiation because of the curse. The ground cannot undo the curse. Adam could not undo the curse. Humanity cannot undo the curse.
Paul echoed this idea in (NIV) Rom 8:
19 For the creation [G2937] waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. 20 For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope 21 that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God. 22 We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time.
Paul was unambiguous by using the word G2937-creation. The whole creation waits for the day of liberation from the curse. On the last day, the cosmos will be regenerated.
Revelation 21:
1a Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away.

Does that deny the possible use of "If there is anyone to save anyone (of the whole world) it is He." / "If anyone of the whole world is to be saved, it is by Him."?
