You know QB, it's a wonder man (Christians) has not suffered devastation for the great number who show dishonor to the Holy Spirit to just brush Him from view and offer condolences for His onetime ancient appearing.
But let’s not just stop with the simple infraction of dishonor, for nowhere do they have such liberty to be able to get away with this. If you count Him dead in one area, then He is ‘all null and void’ to them. The only thing they must congratulate themselves with is trying to produce the longest funeral in history, though He lives.
There is no brushing it from view, there is no ‘permissible’ setting Him aside as an ‘inconvenience’ though through the centuries, try as they will. Glory to the living Lord of glory, whom causes us to glory from that mighty wellspring!!
What is in store for this chicanery that has dragged the masses through this fallacious nightmare of disrespect?
Blindness has shown to overcome oversight completely, a proven despicable trend through the ages, casting off that sound tradition of what is available ‘since’ the time when we first believed (Acts 19:1). Impatience will drive reason right out of view. For why would Paul differentiate receiving the Lord Jesus Christ from receiving the Holy Spirit?
I know this first-hand as the Lord prompted me to attend a SS class on a spur after many month’s long absence. He wanted me to see for myself how this is being glossed over as we read – you guessed it, Acts, chapter 19, starting with verse one. I called the instructor on it. But the blindness of the unbelieving narrative of heart would not permit the differentiating. The Pastor, also seated concurred, let’s move away from this type of response. Devastates the unstable.
