READ GOD'S WORD line upon line and precept upon precept like he COMMANDED and QUIT being reprobate

pay attention to God's words, and quit being emotional in your thinking and way of life!!!

lets read it line upon line and on YOUR SPARE TIME go back and read it for the context that you think you understand!

God hates those who work sin! A person who work sin does it continually, everyday. 7 days a week, do you get my point?

Psalm 5:5
The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

Psalm 45:7
Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

lets look at the punishment and the end result of the wicked and worker of iniquity!!!

Job said
Job 31:3
Is not destruction to the wicked? and a strange punishment to the workers of iniquity?

David said
Psalm 14:4
Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon

Psalm 28:3
Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, which speak peace to their neighbours, but mischief is in their hearts.

Psalm 36:12
There are the workers of iniquity fallen: they are cast down, and shall not be able to rise.

Solomon said
Proverbs 21:15
It is joy to the just to do judgment: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity.

Jesus said
Luke 13

25When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:

26Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.

27But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.
28There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.

God cannot love everyone!!!

I can't speak for everyone, but I find things in my life all the time that transgress the law. And alot of the time I struggle to repent, it's maddening. I pray in the earnest of the hope, I have in Jesus Christ, that I might obtain to His promise, that I will be as He is. Otherwise you have no hope. Jesus Christ is the only one who is righteous and it's His blood that blots out your sin. Only His love can cause you to repent, lest you gain oppertunity to boast.
Again this is the hope I have in Jesus, I love Him because He first loved me and while I was still a sinner he died for me.No greater love has the world seen.

you just keep hoping, and repenting so you don't die in your sins.

if you sin and don't repent, how do you think God feels about you?

he command the sinner to repent, what if you don't repent?

when you do decide to repent what happens to the sin?

its blotted out

then are you back in God's love?

yes because the sin is removed

it is written he hates all workers of iniquity

Psalm 5:5
The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

take a look at the verse, if you keep sinning and don't repent how can you stand in his site and he says he hates the person who works sin.

if you don't repent and the sin continually builds up what are you?

a worker of sin!

repent and he blots out the sin

don't do the sin wilfully

is this hard to do or understand?

peace in Jesus

Ozell, you speak the truth plainly. I hope to walk in the same glory as you. I seem to be able to fake the outward act, but when I get past the show and look at my heart I find things that I thought I repented of still lingering. I repented of smoking 6 yrs. ago and at times the same desire to smoke is still there. I'm not saying walking in sin is ok, what I'm saying is titheing cumin and mint still isn't giving your all.

I have no glory, the glory belongs to God and God alone!

smoking is not sin, you quit because its unhealthy!

we are suppose to struggle, we are suppose to have trials and tribulation.

we are to have up and down days, we are flesh we struggle

if we did not struggle we would be perfect, we would be GOD!

you continue to read your bible, pray to the Lord for wisdom, knowledge and understanding, repent every day, even if you don't think you did anything wrong, and most important, keep his commandments, hold on to God and NEVER GIVE UP HOPE IN JESUS!!

I know he won't fail you!!

peace in Jesus

and yet HE did not wait for her to be "clean" to fellowship with her, that dear one is LOVE. IOW's your claim that God doesn't love the uncomely just fell in the face of real love that reaches us when we are the uncomely, real love extends to us even when we sin. It's scripture as you have shown here, but refuse to accept.

Ozell, He calls us to repentance because He loves, not because HE doesn't love. It is the very nature of love to seek those who are outside that love and bring them into the fold. Which is exactly why God's love is unconditional, because it doesn't wait for us to clean up, but rather comes to us while we are filthy rags, and helps us put on robes of purity. again, you show no evidence that love and hate are opposites until you do, this means nothing to the topic.

The problem is that love doesn't stop just because we mess up, God's love is unconditional, it is always there, always ours. Amen and Amen

Is this a God of conditional Love or a God of unconditional love?

The God of Love can't have much love or any love for the sinner and the wicked. He will destroy them when he return!

why?

Psalm 5:5
The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

Psalm 45:7
Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

Isaiah 13

6
Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.

7Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt:

8And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames.

9Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.

10For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.

11And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.

12I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.

13Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.
14And it shall be as the chased roe, and as a sheep that no man taketh up: they shall every man turn to his own people, and flee every one into his own land.

God cannot love every one now or when he returns

Revelation 22:10-12

10And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.

11He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

12And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

even in the last chapter in the last book of the bible we still have the unjust and the filthy!

God don't deal with filthy and unjust people!!

The God of conditional love don't!!!

3For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

I have to say... conversation is good. Without it, you never understand where people missunderstand the Bible.

Mat 9:13 does mention "the righteous". But if we put the Bible in step with time, we will notice. We deal with two types of righteous.

First, self-righteous, one considered themselves righteous since they sacrificed animals, and read and tried to follow the book of laws.

Second we have God declared righteous, one where we have absolute faith that Jesus died for our sins. This is for those the Holy Spirit has come to dwell within.

Ozell, there was no Holy Spirit work going on before Jesus death. Yes there were a few chosen men, prophets, ect. But not a blanket made available to all mankind.

So these righteous people had to be self-righteous, Not in favor of God.

Lets see how the continuous sacrificing looks in Gods view.
Hosea 6:6
6 For I desire mercy, not sacrifice,
and acknowledgment of God rather than burnt offerings.

In Matt. 9:13, these so called righteous ones were self-righteous, through their sacrifices and not in ther acknowledgement of God. They were hard-hearted. In other words....Faithless.

Now through Jesus sacrifice, pre-appointed by God, a blanket of Grace has been made avaiable. This Grace is only aqquired by repentance and a belief in Jesus Christ as thier Savior and that He is truely the son of God. Now by this Grace, we believers are indwelled with the Spirit of God, called the Holy Spirit. Now when the word "righteous" is used, it can only mean made right in the eyes of God.

Ozell. have you really acknowledged your sinfull nature, and realized that by following the law/commandments you will never be filled with the Holy Spirit?

This sums up Matt 9:13. We have to acknowledge the need for a savior and allow Him into our lives, this represents the sinners in the passage. The so called righteous ones, feel they are already made right in the eyes of God, through self-works and do not need a Savior. This represents the righteous ones in the passage.

Ozell, unless you can offer some evidence that controdicts what you have been shown in scripture, this will be the last time I try to get you to understand this milk. Love and hate are NOT nor can they be opposites of one another. Biblical love is emotion, attitude, and action as well as more. whereas, hatred is emotion only, therefore cannot be the opposite. You have had plenty of time to counter the argument and you refuse. Yep, just judgment, which is part of what real love is.

are you sure about the HS?

are you saying the HS started in matthew when
Jesus came in the flesh?
I can show you the HS in the OT.

yet thats another lesson

righteousness is keeping God's commandments
self righteousness is keeping your commandments

In the OT, the HS was given as God saw appropriate. In the NT, the HS is given to all.

My deepest apologies to razzelflabben, I am pleased with how you have maintained the original topic, I am sorry to sidetrack it, but, I mearly wanted to show the one of which you are trying to understand love, cannot feel love since he has not felt love, the love of Christ.

Ozell, here is what I wrote ....Quote.
"Ozell, there was no Holy Spirit work going on before Jesus death. Yes there were a few chosen men, prophets, ect. But not a blanket made available to all mankind." By this statement I believe I covered the idea that HS was in the OT, why would I need you to show me something that I already mentioned did happen?

Ozell, occationally I may write something incorrect, or that I may not understand something, I do and will acknowledge my errors. Do, or would you do the same??

The post was the missunderstanding of the idea that you may have thought the "righteous" in Mat 9:13 was that they were declared righteous by God. My intent was to enlighten you that they were not righteous in God's eyes since they felt "righteous' by following the law. Which it reads in Romans that no man has followed the law perfectly, hence, no man can be "righteous" in God's eyes. So, they would be self-righteous, which it reads elsewhere.

King James Version
But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

By the verse listed above, we can see our own "righteousness' is not Holy.

Faith, Faith,Faith, be it ot or nt, is the only way. yes,
So lets focus on the point of the post and not divert to elsewhere.

See, learning is fun.
