Sorry, I am still new here and dont know where to post thus thread.

So Jesus has been coming to me in my dreams. First it was when I was battling anxiety. That dream was basically confirming a truth from a lie the enemy was trying to feed me. Then the next dream was we were running through a field and enemies were shooting at us. The bullets were bouncing of of me though as I ran towards Jesus who was leading the way. Then last night I had a dream he was in the house I was in and He lit up the whole house. I had my back towards Him though but could feel His radiant presence. He said some thing to me but cannot remember.

So what do I make of these dreams?

May I have a guess at your last dream? I have no formal qualifications in reading dreams or any dream reading certificates from my church but I'm willing to have a go.

I had a dream where The Lord spoke to me, after specifically asking he would do so...and after claiming I understood what he was saying 3 times...the second I woke up - what he said slipped out of my mind... I then cried out inside looking upward, and heard his voice as if it floated down to me saying, 'you'll remember what I said when your read it in my word'.

I then soon began reading The Gospels, searching earnestly, until I came upon it, and instantly recognized that it was what he had said, in regards to my request for him to appear in a dream and clarify for me - 'what is the most important thing',.( for me who at the time was struggling somewhat with all the differing doctrines of various churches.)

Below is the verse -

Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. <---> Matthew 7:12

It is also found in - Luke 6:31

**************************

What I think is that, at least in some cases, it is a precios gift for The Lord to appear unto us, in a dream, or a vision, or any tangible manner. And as with any precios gift we are enriched thereby, but we are also more accountable than we were before - less able to live as though ignorant.

Suggest doing a word study of dream. dreams, visions, etc through the scriptures.

If any don't have one already - the following link goes to a free downloadable Bible study program which helps very much with searching and studying His Word.

e-Sword: Bible Study for the PC

Basically the theme of your dreams appear to be that we're headed for hard times, and will need to keep near to The Lord for our saftey and deliverance. With that in mind it is likely he said something to affirm the fact that only He is able to save us from any and all, but we need to keep close to readily benefit from such amazing grace !

May The Lord Be Pleased !

Its crazy you would say that. How we are heading into difficult times. I woke up abd turned the tv on. It was actually on a Christian station. On it they were discussing how we are approaching the end of age. In my last dream it was like a evaluations type situation and Jesus was goinf house to house. He said something about me but I cant remember. So I am going to pray and read scriptures over it. Ive seen dreams come to pass before. Sometimes it can be a gift.

And thanks for your reply. I'll look into all those!

Thanks to everyone else too. Andrewofthetribe, go for it! :)

The way I see it buddy on the third dream, take what you like from it.
A soul close to you who is beaming with the spirit of Christ, Jesus would have told you but you are deafened by the noise of the world. Because he was in the house I would say it's someone in your family/church. Maybe a new child. lol I sound like gypsy lee

There was a season many years ago during which I was having apocalyptic dreams rather frequently. Some were so intense that I would wake and be unable to go back to sleep. I would begin pacing and dwelling on the dreams, some of which were very intense. I never saw Jesus in the dreams except one time, which was in a certain dream in which I was standing outside, on a hillside. I can't remember what I was doing in the dream (it has been a while since I dreamed it) but my dog was with me. I remember that all at once all of the sounds I was hearing from nature began to sound long and constant; crickets chirps all singing at the same time, the wind blowing, the rustling leaves, and my dog was also began baying loud and constant. I looked at him and he was looking up at the sky as he bayed, and I remember he looked at me without turning his head while he continued. I looked up in the direction he was baying, and the sky was opening up in a kind of, circular opening. On the other side of the opening was a green, grassy mountain, and at the summit was a man dressed in purple robes, sitting to the side. He was looking toward the ground of the summit upon which he sat, and his hair was very long. Somehow I just knew who it was. As He lifted His gaze toward me, I woke.

I also had a dream about the archangel Michael. I went up stairs and entered a white marble vault which was about the size of a small house inside. It was very ornate, and there were sealed doorways on each other face of the chamber. I somehow knew that in this place I could call Michael. I remember calling to him, but nothing happened. I then said in myself "You have to fully believe" and at this point I became lucid in the dream; as if I woke inside of the dream and knew things consciously. I closed my eyes and emptied myself of all doubt, and I called out to him. When I did this, there began a slight shaking in the vault. I began to hear the low sound of trumpets which were quickly growing louder and louder and louder and I remember thinking "You are not ready for this!" and suddenly across the ceiling of the vault, something like, rounded bands of light began to shoot across the ceiling; they were of prismatic colors, like, one red, one orange, one green, etc. And then I looked to the sealed doorway to my right (these doorways looking to be fashioned of the same white marble as the rest of the chamber) and saw him enter the chamber through the sealed archway. He didn't break the sealing, but came through as if either he or the sealing was, immaterial? He had been moving at fantastic speed but immediately came to a smooth stop on a base before the doorway. He was very tall, maybe the height of two men. And he had come to a rest on one knee, in a crouching position. he had a sword in his hand and was robed. I could see no wings, but it appeared there were wings, I heard a loud sound of wings, and I saw behind many "arcs" rapidly changing positions appearing as though I were seeing the edges of many wings woving so rapidly that I couldn't follow the movement with my eyes, and could only see the edges of the wings almost "strobing": his face was something like, mercurial: silvery? And he was looking before him. This all took place in about 1 or 2 seconds of time. At this point I was utterly terrified. Not that he was doing anything threatening, but that his appearence was so "supernatural" that I couldn't help but feel "awe" in the sense of terror. He turned to look directly at me, and I turned to run in complete fear of him, even though he had been smiling. That's when I woke.

I remember telling a friend about the dream and he said "I can't believe you; I would have stayed and asked him questions" and I simply replied "No, you wouldn't have."

I also saw Jesus in the sky over Kentucky in the waking world. That was probably the most awesome thing I ever saw. I was with another guy (a rabid atheist at the time) who saw it with me, and it was so intense that after it was over he said "Well, now I can't say I didn't get a sign": but, that's another story.

Sounds like a sequence. Something being revealed; a flight under fire; home safely. Like a three-part dream.

I love that God speaks to us in so many different ways. The Bible has many stories of people receiving revelation through dreams and visions. I tend to have a lot of dreams and have studied dream interpretation to some degree. Feel free to PM me if you want me to share my thoughts.

I'm happy to say that I had a dream about youthful Jesus just the other night! Or at least, a very strong impression that it was Him upon waking and evaluating it. He was talking to someone with a braveness and patient strength that felt so pure in contrast to the rugged assertiveness typical of humanity. It inspired me to be less afraid of talking to certain people in waking life.

There were a few times a year ago where I woke up and saw His image in front of me smiling. Quickly fading as I was still in a semi-temporal state. It was reassuring to say the least.
