Jesus Cake

Ingredients:
Have no other Gods in your life.
Don't put anything between you and God to represent Him.
Don't use His name in vain.
Remember to keep the seventh day holy.
Honor your father and mother.
Do not murder.
Do not commit adultery.
Don't steal.
Don't bear false witness.
Don't covet.

Mix it all together in a human life and live it out to produce a Jesus cake.

When people get a taste of your life they will taste a Jesus cake. But if one of the ingredients is missing people will say it don't taste right.

No wonder we don't see the church rising (resurrection from death), the secret family ingredient was missing, which is what Jesus came to show us, (LOVE).

I was thinking about another thread where you and your protoge implied to that you did not teach righteousness by the law. The law is all you guys teach about.
Your little cooking class is just another spin away from the gospel that Jesus sent apostles to preach.

I love righteousness and the Law of God because the represent God and they're a gift from God. I will meditate on them and enjoy them in thought and deed. The Law to me is like chocolate cake from God, which is my favorite. Would you like some? It's free...

One is righteous by faith; the Law shows if you are not right(eous).

I love righteousness and the Law of God because the represent God and they're a gift from God. I will meditate on them and enjoy them in thought and deed. The Law to me is like chocolate cake from God, which is my favorite. Would you like some? It's free...

Like I said....Jesus freely made me righteous through a new birth and since I am now righteous I practice righteousness as part of my new nature.

I can see; by you saying "I love the law" you mean the ten commandments. Can you explain what you mean by "I love righteousness?"

In my understanding righteousness is "doing what God requires of us", "doing what is right".
We should not confuse the facts and claim that righteousness is only about keeping the ten commandments.

Paul made clear the distinction between "righteousness of by the law" from "righteousness by faith."

The deception is made by confusing what the scriptures say............................

Let's not miss the forest because of the trees.

If see the Law as only defining righteousness then you are still in the old covenant whether you believe it or not.

You know something funny, we have been going around and around with this for months and everytime I ask this question you avoid it like the plague.
