You are able to relate to others and others share your experience. Congrats! I don't see how any of this is related to what I'm going through.I don't fit in anywhere.
The fact you don't see how you fit into God's plan is no different than Paul, or Peter, or any of the disciples, or most Christians that have lived!

Just because you became a believer and follower of Christ doesn't make you OMNISCIENT. You seem to require foreknowledge of how God will use you in order to feel secure that he loves you.

Bad news, God is not utilitarian!

He doesn't love you because of your ability to help him complete his strategic plan. He is not General Rommel.

God loves us unconditioned by any attributes other than our human souls.

Assumes foreknowledge and utilitarianism which don't represent that
God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

To as many as received him, he gave them the right to become children of God.

Ephesians 2:8-10 tells us we were saved by God's through faith (trust), not as a result of works.

Further it goes on to say, "We are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

You have two primary hurdles, you don't trust the scriptures, and you want foreknowledge.

The whole point of faith (Greek word pistis), is trust in a person! Trust Jesus, who is both responsible for our salvation, trust the HS who is responsible to confirm your sonship, and help you mature in your trust of God.

But you are trying to eliminate trust and rely on yourself. If God gives you the foreknowledge you are asking for, than why be in relation with God? Just work the plan.

This last idea is satanic.

We are called to a daily reliance on God, not our foreknowledge of future events, and the meaning of suffering in our lives.

need evidence to believe that I'm not cursed and damned. If there is any evidence then I haven't the slightest clue where to

All issues are caused by following your own creations over what God has already created. Do you want pure water or do you want to add dirt and filth to it?

If God is real then it must be reality itself. Everything else is just fluff, your own fluff. If what you perceive is not eternal love and peace then it does not exist but as your own limited and fleeting creation. Anything that is not invincible does not exist, you can fight these facts all you want but you will not succeed. Submit to God's law or continue the struggle to keep yours, it is your choice.

" 'For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints' (1 Corinthians 14:33)."

How can I have assurance of my salvation?

"Do you believe that Jesus died to pay the penalty for your sins and rose again from the dead (Romans 5:8; 2 Corinthians 5:21)?"

Might as well forget about everything else i wrote before. I can't even manage this. How am I supposed to know something in my heart when my heart is totally devastated? He insists on us just somehow "knowing". Obviously he doesn't want us to believe intellectually (i.e with hard evidence). That would be a little tricky because time machines don't exist.

Maybe I will know in my heart someday and maybe I won't. The uncertainty is very discouraging.

If you do a search for Henry Gruver.... .Sid Roth..... you will hear videos about a very strange event in his life in 1988..... In a vision he was taken to Rome..... and told to go down into the dungeon where the Apostle Paul had been martyred....... He was told by God that the Apostolic Anointing had been bound there..... and that he should pray so that it would be released...........

some astonishing things did indeed happen since 1988...........

Perhaps in the years after the martyrdom of Paul... there was nobody quite like Pastor Henry Gruver.. .my wife and daughter and I really enjoyed several videos by him over these past few weeks.........

Eze 22:30

And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.

I read your post. The first thought that came to mind is what if my anxiety and pain drowns out the spirit? Maybe I'll get tired and be unable to even focus. This happens a lot.

I've heard shrinks say that anxiety tends to concentrate around the most important things in your life. I don't know how to suppress it and since God has never really suppressed it I have zero expectation that he will :/

DarkSoul, the focus of my anxiety WAS my struggle to find a settled peace & assurance of knowing that I had done whatever God required of me to have my sins forgiven and to know that my eternity was secure in God. I think the reason God's Holy Spirit began to work in my spirit to allow me to see the truth about the bible, God, and how to truly believe in Jesus was that I turned my focus from myself, from the things I was doing, to focus on God's Word. In others words I simple gave up on myself and turned to God in a sense of desperation in total reliance upon Him to show me whatever it was I needed from His Word to find a settled peace about my relationship with Jesus, and soon after I began to read in the Gospel of John I found my answer and I found the peace I so desperately needed. Today, some 40 years later, I still have that settled peace & assurance which is not of anything "I" have done, but is focused on the finished work of Jesus at the cross.

Jesus said "Come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." (Matthew 11:28-30.KJV)

Anyway, instead of trying to suppress the anxiety yourself, you might just give it to Jesus and allow Him to help you. I have been there and I know it is not easy to just turn things over to God, but what really helped me was reading the Bible. Psalms and the Gospels helped me.

What I am trying to say or to suggest is that you should focus on Jesus and not on yourself.

Another suggestion is that you might consider getting yourself checked out by a licensed medical professional to see if there are any underlying health issues that could be causing the anxiety. Also you might consider getting help from a licensed counselor, or you might talk to your pastor.

God didn't just pick a random way to come into this world and a random way to die and then give random life advice along the way. Jesus was the fulfillment of covenant established in the OT. Alot of what Jesus said referenced to the establish Word in the OT, He at times brought it back so that his disciples can make the connection of how he planned from the beginning to save His people. Read the Old Testament, and you will get the magnitude of why God did what He did and the great lengths that lineage went through.

Not enough to take a little piece here and there of the NT, you won't get the message in its entirity.

First, God chooses to be active only when the implementation a covenant is underway, and when this world ends. So basically God and His prophets acting as witnesses are active during OT times when the OT covenants were granted, during 1st century when the New Covenant was put in place. He will leave humans alone as long as the current covenant is in place and effective.

The contents of the New Covenant say that humans will have to rely on faith in God and Christ to be saved. So please tell me if hard evidence is available how can humans be saved in terms of the covenant bound to us?

If there is hard evidence then we humans no longer need faith to believe in God and Christ, we already know that they are who they are. It simultaneously means that all mankind shall go to hell.

God is refusing in every way. I am completely alone. Anxiety medication is useless unless the cause of the issue is unknown. Counselors and pastors aren't going to be able to help. Unless they know how to break curses...

Question: "Why does God allow evil?"

Answer:
The Bible describes God as holy (Isaiah 6:3), righteous (Psalm 7:11), just (Deuteronomy 32:4), and sovereign (Daniel 4:17-25). These attributes tell us the following about God: (1) God is capable of preventing evil, and (2) God desires to rid the universe of evil. So, if both of these are true, why does God allow evil? If God has the power to prevent evil and desires to prevent evil, why does He still allow evil? Perhaps a practical way to look at this question would be to consider some alternative ways people might have God run the world:

1) God could change everyone’s personality so that they cannot sin. This would also mean that we would not have a free will. We would not be able to choose right or wrong because we would be “programmed” to only do right. Had God chosen to do this, there would be no meaningful relationships between Him and His creation.

Instead, God made Adam and Eve innocent but with the ability to choose good or evil. Because of this, they could respond to His love and trust Him or choose to disobey. They chose to disobey. Because we live in a real world where we can choose our actions but not their consequences, their sin affected those who came after them (us). Similarly, our decisions to sin have an impact on us and those around us and those who will come after us.

2) God could compensate for people’s evil actions through supernatural intervention 100 percent of the time. God would stop a drunk driver from causing an automobile accident. God would stop a lazy construction worker from doing a substandard job on a house that would later cause grief to the homeowners. God would stop a father who is addicted to drugs or alcohol from doing any harm to his wife, children, or extended family. God would stop gunmen from robbing convenience stores. God would stop high school bullies from tormenting the brainy kids. God would stop thieves from shoplifting. And, yes, God would stop terrorists from flying airplanes into buildings.

While this solution sounds attractive, it would lose its attractiveness as soon as God’s intervention infringed on something we wanted to do. We want God to prevent horribly evil actions, but we are willing to let “lesser-evil” actions slide—not realizing that those “lesser-evil” actions are what usually lead to the “greater-evil” actions. Should God only stop actual sexual affairs, or should He also block our access to pornography or end any inappropriate, but not yet sexual, relationships? Should God stop “true” thieves, or should He also stop us from cheating on our taxes? Should God only stop murder, or should He also stop the “lesser-evil” actions done to people that lead them to commit murder? Should God only stop acts of terrorism, or should He also stop the indoctrination that transformed a person into a terrorist?

3) Another choice would be for God to judge and remove those who choose to commit evil acts. The problem with this possibility is that there would be no one left, for God would have to remove us all. We all sin and commit evil acts (Romans 3:23; Ecclesiastes 7:20; 1 John 1:8). While some people are more evil than others, where would God draw the line? Ultimately, all evil causes harm to others.

Instead of these options, God has chosen to create a “real” world in which real choices have real consequences. In this real world of ours, our actions affect others. Because of Adam’s choice to sin, the world now lives under the curse, and we are all born with a sin nature (Romans 5:12). There will one day come a time when God will judge the sin in this world and make all things new, but He is purposely “delaying” in order to allow more time for people to repent so that He will not need to condemn them (2 Peter 3:9). Until then, He IS concerned about evil. When He created the Old Testament laws, the goal was to discourage and punish evil. He judges nations and rulers who disregard justice and pursue evil. Likewise, in the New Testament, God states that it is the government’s responsibility to provide justice in order to protect the innocent from evil (Romans 13). He also promises severe consequences for those who commit evil acts, especially against the "innocent" (Mark 9:36-42).

In summary, we live in a real world where our good and evil actions have direct consequences and indirect consequences upon us and those around us. God’s desire is that for all of our sakes we would obey Him that it might be well with us (Deuteronomy 5:29). Instead, what happens is that we choose our own way, and then we blame God for not doing anything about it. Such is the heart of sinful man. But Jesus came to change men’s hearts through the power of the Holy Spirit, and He does this for those who will turn from evil and call on Him to save them from their sin and its consequences (2 Corinthians 5:17). God does prevent and restrain some acts of evil. This world would be MUCH WORSE were not God restraining evil. At the same time, God has given us the ability to choose good and evil, and when we choose evil, He allows us, and those around us, to suffer the consequences of evil. Rather than blaming God and questioning God on why He does not prevent all evil, we should be about the business of proclaiming the cure for evil and its consequences—Jesus Christ!

I did not discuss evil in my post. I get the feeling that you completely ignored everything that I wrote and only thought about what you talked about in the past....not cool.

Here is what I wrote:

"I am not suggesting that he shoot down lightning bolts to blast the wicked I am suggestion that he EMPOWER the believers...but obviously he doesn't feel like doing that."

"I get the impression that most Christians are so focused on spiritual ideas and feelings that they never stop to contemplate just how utterly useless we all are when it comes to making a tangible positive impact on this planet."

I made a very specific point: God makes us USELESS

we are just dumb worthless animals whose only job is to float around for up to a 100 years on Earth and then die. Oh yea...and at some point we have to mention Jesus to somebody and see if they randomly choose him. Then when we die our eternal fate is completely determined by how well we were able to live as spiritual ascetics who believed exactly the correct things...

I see misery and horror every day at work and I'm mostly useless against all but the most mild cases.

Any mentally unstable creep can murder a hundred people in a crowded public space but nothing I do WILL EVER have that level of impact. Unless somehow I break down all the barriers and create some world changing invention. Only 1 out of a 1000 people are clever enough to beat this world. I may or may not be one of them and most people are TOTALLY USELESS most of the time!

Please do not suggest that choosing Christ automatically makes you an instrument of his power. It is entirely based on our physical and mental strength. An impoverished wheelchair bound sickly believer cannot save a thousand lives. Oh how I wish God was actually working in our lives in some way....but no.

I currently am a "semi-believer" and used to be like you and maybe still am... but I will say this...

In todays world I don't think God is as openly undeniably involved as He was in past times because we've developed our societies so much, as in Babel, that we don't need Him... so why would He intervene? Wheres the glory in that?

It is better to think of the present state of Babel not that He doesn't want to intervene and be clearly known (because that is His biggest complaint), but that we have lost hold of the knowledge that keeps us close to Him (Isaiah 59:1-2, John 12:35, Hosea 4:6) and have not stood up for Him against the oppressors. Jesus warned that many false prophets would come in His name, even deceiving the elect if it were possible. These days the knowledge of Christianity is so obscured by false doctrine (1 John 4:1, 2 Peter 2:1-2) and the English language itself, plus the way people are accustomed to think is that Christianity is a ticket to heaven and they carry on living life the way they like (Romans 12:2). To find God in this day and age is difficult like never before.. yet there is no shortage of blind guides either. So, it isn't that God is not there or that He can't be glorified by being known, but more that humankind is so lost, the workers really are so few, and the majority of the workers that there are have no idea what they are doing (Ecclesiastes 9:18, Luke 18:8).

So we're just supposed to sit around talking about spiritual stuff and then die?

Honestly this spiritual talk means nothing to me if I can't stop a baby from dying a slow horrible death.

The devil rules the earth, for now. He wants everyone but he ain't getting everyone!

We go to God with faith. Its not meant to be a walk in the park. Jesus suffered, why shouldn't we, the world?

One more thought for you @CodySmith, in light of this information and Matthew 13:24-30. Jesus said the world would know that we are His disciples by the love we have for one another, and 1 Corinthians 13 lists some distinctive properties of love. I suggest you study that list very attentively as it is essential to recognise love as distinct from flattery, and truth apart from knowledge, in order to stay safe in the midst of wolves while of the same mind as The Shepherd (1 Corinthians 2:14-16).

You are right about that!

Now a natural man does not accept the things of the Ruach Elohim, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.

and

So from now on we recognise no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Messiah according to the flesh, yet now we no longer know Him this way.

Isaiah 55:3-13 (KJV) Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.
Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people.
Behold, thou shalt call a nation that thou knowest not, and nations that knew not thee shall run unto thee because of the LORD thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he hath glorified thee.
Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.
