Jericho was a well fortified city. We could equate this city with tough problems that we face in life from time to time. Walls that are daunting, insurmountable, walls that loom over us, walls that if we tried to conquer by ourselves it may take a very long time and possibly cost us a lot to do so.
However
If we will leave the problem in God's hands it may be that he will give us the solution to the problem, it may be that the solution is kind of weird too.... walking around the city blowing a trumpet without speaking for a week??? But we can be sure that if we do things God's way a complete victory is ours in his perfect time. The walls will be knocked flat
