I saw him performing worship music at The Rock Church in San Diego a few years ago and bought his "underground" CDs.

I'm not really a big fan of his music. He sang a good worship service but his underground stuff didn't appeal to me.

I also am rather picky on voices and I can hear him straining sometimes which I don't like to hear.

Do any of you know the names of the other band members (guitarist, bass, drummer, keyboard) in Jeremy Camp's band?

Hey Stratosaurus-
Thanks! I already tried jeremycamp.com. There's not much there about the band- just Jeremy Camp.

I found out that the drummer's name is Leif, and Aubrey plays the bass. But I still don't know the guitar and keyboard.

StratGirl

p.s. Do you play a Stratocaster?

Hey StratGirl,
Yep, I have several....Fender SRV, Fender Floyd-Rose(my main)...several Strat-style copies... Ibanez Strat, Epiphone Strat, Peavey Raptor.
I also like Teles & just bought a Fender Nashville Tele, which does the Tele 'bite & the Strat 'quack' both. If it had a Floyd-rose on it, it'd definitely become my main guitar.

Cool! I'd love to have so many guitars. I only have 1 Strat.

1 Strat is good!!! I kinda felt that way for a long time & now I'm changing. I use the Floyd Rose Strat 95% of the time & the others mostly sit in the cases. I'm fixing to try to weed out some of the non-used guitars for some stuff I can use & need. I really could use a better acoustic electric(Taylor 310CE :D). I only have 1 A/E & it's an 'olympia', ($350new). I'm playing more & more A/E stuff, so a nice playing, sounding one would be great.

Hey Tim-

Why do you like the floyd-rase the best?
What kind of music do you play?
I like stuff like Jeremy Camp, Kutless, Creed.

Have a blessed day!
Brooke :)

Saw Jeremy in concert March 28th in Minot, ND. It really touched me when he gave a testimony about his wife as she was dying of cancer. She was the encourager one day in the hospital when Jeremy must have been a little down she told Jeremy "come on Jeremy lets worship God". What a fantastic spirit she must have. The music was awesome as well. I bought the worship CD at that concert and it is very good.

Hello everyone!

I saw this thread, and I just had to post!

Drums - Leif (I know his last name, but professionally he is only known as Leif)
Bass - Aubrey Torres
Guitar - Ryan Truso (who happens to play a very nice and very expensive Tom Anderson guitar!)
Keyboards - Zach Hodges (Some of you may have gotten to see him, but he was only on tour with Jeremy for a couple of months. On April 19, 2004 he went back to Seattle where he produces.)

I have met Jeremy and all of these guys, and the are awesome! I chat with the guys' wives (with the exception of Zach who's not married and Aubrey's wife) and email back and forth with the guys themselves pretty regularly, so I could probably answer just about any question you might have. Hope I helped!:)

I am not thrilled about his worship album. I believe that there are certain people that are meant to do exclusive "Christian" Music- and there are others who are made to do "Praise" Music- these two do not fit together. But neither one is worse than the other. I think there are certain people that have the annointing to do worship music and when Christian artists try to attempt to do a worship album- sometimes it just makes Worship music look fabricated like "Christian" music. Which, this is not how worship music should be.

Jeremy Camp's worship album is good. Not as good as his other album. I believe that his heart was pure, but I didn't feel a surge within me when I listened to it- like I do with other worship albums like, Hillsong or the Vineyard. Of course, it may have been that it wasn't live either.

Anyway... that's my take on it. All in All- Jeremy Camp is a great Christian artist.
