I did some. I don't know how I like it. I have a hard time understanding what it is and what it isn't, what defines it, what it's point is, so for the moment I just take the classes and do my best.

yeah!! i do jazz, hip hop, and lyrical!! i like them all and it's good to have a mix so you don't get bored with one kind of dance. Lyrical is my favorite though

I swing dance. Technically, swing is a partnered jazz dance.

I have taken some classic jazz classes, but I've never been very good at solo dances. I am hoping to learn more and become better at it though.

I do alot of swing dancing too, jazz... I've taken some lessons, but I never really stuck with it

thats cool, i do tap and jazz. IMO, jazz is really fun to do.

I used to do a little bit of jazz here and there. I always thought it was a blast! I loved it when we didn't have to point our toes or have good turn-out.

I just did my 5th jazz class in my life (not counting auditions) an hour ago.
I think Jazz is really good for developping dancer audience relationships, and presence.
It's quite nice when you get into the beat...

I'm a 320 pound 5 foot 11 22 year old powerlifter. I love dancing. My mom put my sibling's and I in dancing each at the ages of 2 and 3. I quit dancing at 15 because I started playing football. I loved dancing and still do ultimatley for the Lord. I danced tap and jazz for my whole carreer. Both are awesome in the same. It's fun and excellent for balance and discipline. God Bless.

Hi there i have just come back from my friday nite Jazz ballet class for the older ladies. its a fun time and we all end
in giggles over the moves we are trying to do.

I just started Jazz and did it for a few months, but now i am moving away so have to stop! Which is annoying because i was really loving it . It was also good becuase since i have done ballet for about 12 years i got put straight into the Grade Four class instead of Grade 1, and i still found most of the exercises very easy! I am going to miss it

jazz is one of my favorite kinds of dance. it can be classic but its not as rigid a style as some other types of dancing.
