Thread: Forks of Stones River

Name: Jasper Albright

Age: 21

Height: 5’ 11”

Weight: thin

Occupation: Confederate soldier

Appearance: Before the war Jasper was a handsome young man with many girls wishing to be his beau. However now after the war he has become a thin, pinch-faced young man, only a sallow shadow of the attractive man he used to be. His perpetual scowl does not help with the sullen appearance. Jasper has dark hair that could be either brown or black (depending on whether or not the sun is out) that hangs in wilted curls over his forehead and down his neck. His Confederate uniform is torn and dirty and hangs limply on his gaunt frame. With green eyes so dark they turn practically black when he is angry, and pale skin, he appears sometimes as a ghoul when seen in faint light. Obviously the war has taken its toll on this young man. Has a pleasant Southern accent that contrasts greatly with his appearance.

Personality: Jasper, although sullen, angry, and bitter, still has a remnant of his Southern gentleman upbringing which surfaces from time to time. He seldom speaks and prefers silence altogether.

Bio: When the war started in 1861, Jasper was only 16 and too young to join up. However he and his best friend lied about their ages and joined the Confederate army. They were mainly just looking for kicks for they were reckless, passionate youths. Unfortunately Jasper’s friend was killed in action. Having been slapped in the face with the brutal reality of war, Jasper’s cheerful and nonchalant attitude swiftly changed to one of a bitter and cold soldier. He would not let himself feel lest he be broken inside forever. As soon as General Lee surrendered, he fled to the woods, hoping to find his way home alone. So far he’s only gotten himself lost, which, needless to say, has not helped his mood any.
