Jan Crouch, Televangelist and Trinity Broadcasting Network Co-Founder, Dies at 78

Mrs.Crouch passed away after suffering a massive stroke. The few compassionate posts compared to the hate filled one's don't speak of the love of Christ showing mercy and compassion for a dead woman.

I would say those responsible should be ashamed of that image conveyed. But if that were possible the image wouldn't have been conveyed.

Thoughts to Mrs.Crouch's family. Even I heard of this lady and her husband in their day. Anyone who has seen someone after they've suffered a massive stroke wouldn't think to cast knives at her head and reputation when she never knew her life before that stroke again.

The hate filled comments in this thread are pitiful.

So, my mother told me that Jan Crouch grew up in her mother's church and her family were quote, 'good people'. While everyone that had known her thought she was a nice person, it was always considered unfortunate and concerning about how things panned out with her on TBN, because, and I quote, 'she wasn't raised that way'. That was even coming from pentecostal types.

I didn't know Jan Crouch, I disagree quite strongly with her beliefs/theology, I think TBN is beyond weird and I don't equate it with my faith whatsoever. Even still, God have mercy on her.
