I realize this is old news, but who cares. Humor me, okay?

James Cameron, director of the mega-blockbuster hit movie Titanic, claims to have found the ossuary containing fragments of the bones of Christ:

Christian archeologists and Biblical scholars are less than impressed and pretty much mock Cameron's claims:

Here is a response from Christian author Ray Comfort in his book Hollywood Be Thy Name:

"How can Christians be sure that James Cameron is wrong? There are a couple of things in life of which I am truly sure. The first is that the sun is hot. I may be wrong, but everything around me-may natural senses, my life's experience, science, etc.-comes together to tell me that the sun is very hot. The second thing of which I am sure is that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that He suffered and died for me, rose again on the third day, and that God has appointed Him to judge the quick and the dead. The thought that someone has found the bones of Jesus doesn't even come close to being a bad joke. It would be more credible for Mr. Cameron to produce a documentary telling us that the sun is made of ice. He could perhaps have it aired on the Comedy Channel. Why am I so sure that Jesus Christ is the Son of God? Because He transformed my life. He made me a brand new person on the inside." Hollywood Be Thy Name, p.68

I rather like that response. Succinct, to the point and humorous. :D

Where has James Cameron's credibility gone in the Christian world?

I'll give you a hint: You press the handle and it flushes.
