  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

JacqS would appreciate prayers for Jamie

Have had and eventful week, had a lovely ambulance trip into Dandenong hospital on Wed morning with my 4 yr old - some people will do anything for a bit of holiday entertainment ;) - he'd done something to his neck on Tues evening (they think its just a strained muscle?) but not much fun for 4 yr old, every time he tried to move he would start crying, so, we laid him on his bed, pillows either side of his head to make sure he didnt move it, and he went to sleep pretty quickly after a dose of paracetamol, but was still sore Wed morning, we didnt want to sit him up in the car, so we called an ambulance to take him in.

He's much better now, but still a bit stiff - your prayers that it heals completely would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Thanks

Thanks guys, my little man seems perfectly fine now!!

the assistant at his kinder suggested it might be something to do with him growing so fast, she is involved with St Johns First Aid, and said she had heard several times of kids having trouble with their knees at this age because the bones grow so fast (which he has definitely been doing, an inch and a half in 3 mths!!) that the muscles/ligaments cant keep up, and wondered if it might be the same kind of thing causing it?? might be worth talking to the Dr about next time we're in there?

Well, thanks again!
