jacob accused

had a dream the other night that i was walking through a mall or a street market with shops stacked right on top of one another

there was a commotion, police were out

i knew that the patriarch jacob was in trouble for being accused of a sexual crime against a woman

i knew he was innocent though

then the further i walked, the more awkward it got

people were starting to suspect me of associating with jacob

the last thing i remember was thinking of how difficult it will be to walk back towards the entrance with all these people just salivating to attack

I have been asking the Lord whether your dreams have a purpose, if they are to direct you in any way. I am getting a feeling, and I could be wrong, so take it with a grain of salt, that your dreams are not set by God for instruction. I also felt that if I told you that that you would feel it was a cross against your name, you know like a "you got it wrong" type of moment. But don't feel that way, God would never mark you down. I just know for experience that dreams can come form many sources, and (as christians) some times those dreams that feel like they came from God really did not. Like I said I could be wrong, but I don't want you to spend your time trying to live your life based upon dreams.

It is better to study the bible and live by it, and its commands, rather than seek confirmation of life's path in dreams.

it's no problem

i am aware that not all dreams are from God

i don't actually seek to MAKE DECISIONS based on dreams

i do however seek the Lord for answers...one way or the other

there are DOORS...doors that only the Lord can open

Hi that is ok, I am still learning, so I am not certain. So you know what I mean. I used to write sermons, and I would always ask the Lord if he wanted me to share a new message or not share on a given day (so people were not ear bashed). I always asked him to show me that by showing me a tick or a cross. A tick for go ahead, or a cross for no. When I asked about your dream a saw a cross like you would get if you failed an exam. I asked twice, and saw it twice. I felt as I said it represented a two fold thing, 1) the dreams were not coming from God for instruction, and 2) I was to let you know God did not think it was a blot agains your name, it was not a fail.

But like I said I could be wrong, I have just used this method in the past.

I did have a thought and seeing you are here I will discuss it. I felt that you should keep a diary of your dreams, you know like in a book. When you have a dream if you get an interpretation see how it helps people, or yourself. If you find over time the dreams are not helping anyone, you will know they are not from God. Dreams are never given just to give special knowledge. They are always given to assist people. As an example pharaoh's dream although symbolic saved egypt from destruction, when interpreted. See if your dreams lead to growth in you and others. If they don't then know they are not of God. If they every time lead to growth, and an increase in love then they are from God.

This dream is trying to tell you to watch your step. Always pray and communicate with the Holy Spirit before making any life changing decisions. Your father thinks very highly of you, and as such you should not break your spine under the weight of the pressure. Take your time in making this life-altering decision of your work life. Confront God and pray for the perfect option. It will come to you in your time. For now, just relax and enjoy your time off. It will get better. It always does. This I can assure you.
