  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Yeah, Jack Chick has some skewed views of Catholicism, but, some of his comics are very truthful. At least we know that some good is coming from this person.

Uh-huh. So, if a man starts beating his wife, claiming that he's doing it out of love...that's a good thing? Because that's exactly what Chick is doing: he's beating the Bride of Christ and claiming to do it for the noblest of reasons.

I don't know about your part of the world, but up here we have our own ways of dealing with wife-beaters. A man who beats his own wife can expect a little 'discussion' involving blunt objects and broken bottles. A man who beats another man's wife? We'll usually leave it to the husband to take care of business himself, but we're always ready and willing to hold the scuz-bag down for the first couple of hours.
