CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yes. I love Jack and Bobby. It seems like it has a lesson to teach every show. My only concern is that it seems to frequently talk about hiding things from others. For example, tonight Bobby didn't tell his mother that the homeless man stole the television and earlier Bobby refused to tell the truth about his father. It is often implied this is for a greater good, but that's the one questionable message I have noticed.

I yeah but you have to take those things in context. He felt sorry for Jonah, so he let him take the TV and told his mom someone broke in (which was true in a way) but he hid who it was because he knew his mom had so much faith in Jonah and in helping him. I think he was mainly protecting her feelings. ?

I know this is a little off subject, but I know the guy who plays Jack...sort of. He graduated from the same college I did and he dated a girl I knew from my major. My celebrity connection, I guess!
