  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

First things that come to mind are stuff related to my profession (it's related to economics, but that's one detail about myself which I don't like to share publicly online, to stay a bit anonymous).

I also have collection of very useless skills and knowledge related to my hobbies, like computer games, combat sports or reading history/comic books.

Surely combat sports are quite useful in some circumstances...? haha

Oh yes, if you think it that way, altho I haven't been in a fight outside of ring since I was 18 I think.

But what I was thinking when I said that, is there is alot of stuff that is practically useless, like some high kicks or other movie-moves. Sometimes I've practised some stuff, like some random high kicks, just for fun cause it looks kinda cool, and those are practically useless skills even for possible fighting or for a match.

I always think I should learn some self defense stuff and a high kick would just be awesome! But I'm not that flexible, ha!

Yeah high kicks are the best!

If you're looking for self-defense skills, I would recommend something that has full contact practise, like brasilian jujitsu, kickboxing, judo or stuff like that.

If you could have an exotic or fictional animal as a pet, what would it be?

I stick with my choice of black swan, I explained it while ago in this thread:

Does historical person count? If so, it would be Francis of Assisi. I admire him, and I know he didn't have easy life, but I think he had so extraordinary connection with nature and God that I would love to get a taste of what it was like to see life in a way he did.
